1) Download onto sdcard.
2) Reboot into recovery and wipe everything.
3) Install Cm10 first, then install uantal-preinstalled-phablet-armhf.zip
4) Enjoy.
If you brick your phone its not my problem.
Almost everything is broken. Do not ask for a fix. I did not mod or make this. This is just to get use to it.
Please give me some thanks

Is this any better than it was on the Nexus 7 when it first came out? I haven't used it in a while, and most things were still unaccessible.

Double post?? This is already in "original android" thread.

So did I post it there or did someone else. I know someone else has this post but then don't have the links anymore.
It's posted in original development already.

Don't think it'll happen since nothing works in general yet. Its still a developer preview ROM.

Yep everything is still broken. But since Noone can keep there's links up I made it a torrent. Just play around with it.

I always hated the Wifi Calling icon that comes with stock.
THANKS TO GUIDANCE FROM THIS THREAD: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1468578
I have created a flashable zip that will change the icons (See attached). The Icons will show up on your phone.
I have verified that this works on my phone. However, I take no responsiblity as to what this might do to your phone. So Nandroid backup first.
In case you want to revert back, use this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1468578

Your mockups look great, I'd like to try them out too. Do you have a link to the forum posts, did a search and didn't find them.

There was another thread to get rid of the icons all together. If you want to use the ones I attached, just replace the images in the OP and follow the directions to flash.

I just tried that zip, it doesnt work. However in general a patch like this will work on our phone, we just need one that is right for us. And also this may be already baked into our roms.
Edit: I looked at the forums of my old phone and found a zip that works Link
So I was bored today and so I tested the different drivers with quadrant
Here are the results:

}

How it was tested:
Rom: Unofficial CM9
Procedure: battery pull, test first without then with 2D acceleration, flash qualcomm drivers, repeat tests
Conclusion: I am going to use the qualcomm drivers with 2D acceleration on because it is the best in two, almost three, out of five categories
Disclaimer: As I may have fudged this up, not gotten a big enough sample, or have slight differences in hardware, I strongly suggest that you try this for yourself
Edit: if your phone will not auto-rotate after you flash the drivers just do a cache wipe and it should start working again

Yes, he is just gonna have huge problems.
Currently, im running FD18 from way back when. Im on this because when i go into odin to try and go back to EL29, odin sends a message that is in like a chinese style language. When i click ok, the program auto closes.
Ive tried on multiple computers. Am i stuck or is there a way to at least get back to EL29 or to get the latest OTA?

Not enough info. What kernel you on? Safe recovery? Try flashing rom from recovery or updating kernel then flashing.

You have an out dated, over seas version of Odin. Go to the dev section and in the sticky threads there are two posts .by sfhub. Find the version you are looking for in the Odin one click thread. Then go to the autoe4gt thread and download the auto root tool to obtain cwm. Read the entire OP in both threads. If you have any questions, pm me.

You need to extract Odin and Odin.ini from the zip first. It's looking for the ini file that it can't find, which is why you're getting the popup that you're getting.

I had the same problem, chances are you or an app had changed the build description in the build.prop file.
If you installed something like the Google wallet installer it may have done that. If that is the case, install it again and click restore build.prop.

Well I had google wallet installed through the Google wallet installer app, so I restored the build.prop...phone booted up and just stayed at a black screen. So that apparently didn't work lol.
The good: I can boot into recovery
The bad: didn't follow the #1 rule of backing up the current ROM... Looks like I'm reflashing and setting up the ROM again. (I'm bored right now any ways)

That's odd, I've never had that issue with the wallet installer, used it yesterday in fact. Did you make sure you checked the correct options (JB TW / ICS TW / CM and carrier)?

Yeah, I made sure checked the right settings. I'll just flash the recovery with Odin.
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda premium
In order for google wallet to setup properly it checks for supported devices. The only official one is the nexus. So the installer changes the build.prop to the nexus. There is either sn option in the installer to change it back or it makes a backup in the system folder and u can do it manually.

1. Download ZipThemer - https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ipthemer&hl=en
2. Update edify - Menu>update edify>browse
3. Pick the rom zip file that you are currently using
4. Click Configure
4. Tap "+Theme" (Select the 4GtoLTE.zip file)
5. Then "Build It"
6. Reboot into recovery and flash the "aooga_h_to_4g_update.zip" (This name might vary, but it will always say "update" at the end of the name.)
7. Enjoy!
Just as a notice to anyone who tries, I used this on 4.3 Beanstalk and I got constant system UI force closes. Tried the uninstall zip, and still got force closes nonstop. Had to dirty flash the ROM again to get it back to normal.

I'm pretty sure I have a solution, I have to select the rom I want to use it with via ZipThemer.
I will upload the universal ZIP after work, with instructions on how to get it to work for your rom.
