As you know s4 is out and its got android 4.2.2 so i want to ask why devs dont port s4's rom cause it isnt possible ?if yes why u no do it

right now I'm at 4.1.1 official rooted rom from ATT but would like to upgrade my i747 to 4.3 . (I know everyone wants to)
Can anyone tell me the exact procedure how can I achieve that by building a rom for myself.
or is it not possible until google releases some special code
I know this question is a little vague but I wish to start learning development for android by building a rom for my phone

No one is going to tell u how to "build a rom" in a single post! U have to research, read everything that u can. I'm sure people will be glad to help with questions u have along the way after u have learned the basics of what it takes, but it's sort of ludicrous to ask such a vague question.

Might want to check out this thread for starters...
It would be easiest for someone starting out (like myself) to wait for cm to get 4.3 booting and then start..so you know if you broke it or not. That's what someone told me. Feel free to do what you want

is there any on-going port process of the hTC one Sense 5 ROM to our Grand Duos ? will there be anything like this ?? or the idea is not possible duo to some reasons ??
i've been intersted in porting but didn't get the time to get on it, and neither now i do have the time but if i've started trying will it brick my device ? along the way or it can be safe way to do so ?

brother if you fear bricking your phone then you can't port anything and if you follow all steps of porting then there are few chances of bricking so go for it

I am just curious to know if grand 2 kitkat rom can be used for i9082 ? just a noob question .. i hope someone can throw a light on it.. and are there any other kitkat based rom for i9082 which has dual sim support ? Also any news on 9082 official kitkat update ?

First of all is difficult to port grand 2's stock room for i9082. It's difficult not impossible.... Don't know if any developer working on it or not....... Grand i9082 has many dual sum supported custom roms..... Like cm 11,cosmic cm etc. Etc. They are much better than the stock rom..... Even better than tw kitkat rom..... So use any of them...

But does the dual sim function works on those rom.. cuz most of them i've seen doesnt work.. there is extra code to be run eg. su:.... which they say isnt fullproof. and the reason i say grand 2 is cuz its a stock rom and has dual sim functionality inbuilt which many rom developers cant create since its proprietery

The extra commands to edit build.prop were required in older versions of cyanogenmod as the developer wanted to make sure it works without any problems. After testing and feedback he enabled it by default in the new version as it works well. So in the newest versions you don't need to do anything after installing the rom to make dual sim work.

I have used only Unofficial Cyanogenmod 11 by pawitp:

It doesn't provide ota but you can download rom deltas for updating without downloading the whole rom (read the first post in the link).
so i dont know if this is where it should be but i was wondering if anyone would like a version of dargon rom for any variant of our tablet because i feel bad non of this get any roms so

this phone is good but the dev`s dont want make anything for add new features to the factory rom..
PLEASE.. is there anyone interested in port a rom for my device?

Im from mexico and my girl have this phone, it sucks from custom cm 12 or any custom rom would be perfect.
Any dev porting cm or any g2 or 3 or 4 specs and fix the kk issues like unlocking screen problem.
