As we all know, we love out Sony Xperias for how cool they look with certain themes we choose. The themes that change the whole UI to a certain colour. A feature present even in the early stages of JB for out beloved Xperia S. But one thing i noticed is that despite the in depth implementation of the themes in JB the backgroud doesnt change. Dont get me wrong, i like the dark grey textured background but i wold love to change that optionaly via themes, a feature that was possible in ICS. So got the matter into my own hands and searched till a found a mod implemented in a Xperia V ROM made by danisariandi witch i wanted to share to you all. They still have the textured background but they change colour acording to the choosed theme.
Do it at your one risk.
I recomend you do a backup first

Stock Sony JB (apperantly they work on Xperia T,V,TX,S, and problably work on P and GO JB)

Just copy the files in to system/apps and replace the original ones
(Note: the Xperia theme is light grey, personaly i like the dark grey better)

UPDATE
So in the ICS times, Xperia T had an extra theme called Skyfall witch came with the James Bond branded Xperia T, the apk mod worked on several Xperia ICS enabled phones (includind Xperia S) giveing our phones an extra theme besides the stock ones working in paralel without haveing to replace one or the other. In the JB situation in Xperia S case the stock themes where Amber, Emerald, Sapphier, Silk, Xperia, Amethist and Ruby and as for Xperia P JB the stock themes where Amber, Emerald, Sapphier, Silk, Xperia, Amethist and Quartz exchangeing Ruby with Quartz. So thx to Ben Ling who shared the theme with me i pushed it to system/apps and i am proud to say that it works flowlessly, giveing me an extra xperia theme. I uploaded the stock not moddified one. Hope you can enjoy!

I hope you read the whole first post, the themes arent mine, there danisariandi's, PM him for that but thinking about it AFAIK you need to decompile the theme apk's to change the background.

So i was right, it needs do be decompiled
If you want to change manually, u can use his UFT zip, add ur own bg in that zip and flash , tested on V and worked like a charm

Great themes! May you help me with the installation. as you said I pushed the apk to system/app and gave permissions. Cant pick in themechooser or dont change after reboot. How I can do? Rename? Cant find a basic theme apk in system/app to rename like this and overwrite etc. thanks a lot :victory:

Nope. Settings background are framework depended now. Not in themes.

Auni, can O request something quick? I'd do it myself, but I'm not familiar with those themes.
So, I want Space' Amethyst wallpapers (both touchscreen and home screen ones) with Ruby theme. I just love the red. I'd extract the wallpaper, but JB's lockscreen's wallpaper crop is horrible (if I have a portrait image, I need to select only a part, not it fully)

Not the wallpapers only. In.JB, the image crop for lock screen sucks, so I can't select a portrait image. I hace to crop it somehow. What I want is just that you pick up the Amethyst wallpapers that are inside the apk, and change for the ones from Ruby (red). The actual Ruby are pink-ish... And I like Amethyst ones better (just wallpaper, I like the rest of the system in.Red)

I don't use any decompiler tools.
I only use 7zip manager to extract the required files.
And about that xperia lock screen I don't include him cuz few roms doesn't support it because of androidpolicy.jar .
Some ROMs have mods based on that.

[MOD][JB][ICS,GB =?] Original "fast" Xperia Cosmicflow livewall like in the comercial
When i first saw the ads for the Sony Xperia S i loved the way that cosmic flow live wallpaper looked like, totaly different than the one in the retail Gingerbread version, ICS had the same app and apperantly JB also has the same slugish Cosmic flow live wallpaper. Olso the other models had the same livewallpapare. So as usual i searched for something better but other than finding the same cosmic flow live wallpaper but with multiple colours and a white version witch i'll share to you later i didnt find anything good. The only thing i found was a Gingerbread specific version witch i moddified to make it work on JB. Hope you like it. Its a lot faster, and a lot wider than the original apk. More anymated and more fluid and FAAAAAST. From what i tested it, i didnt notice any bad battery drains done by it.
Dont remember the user who shared the original apk. If you know who he is let me know so i can credit him.
DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK
Requrements:
Stock Sony Jelly Bean ROM (maybee custom rom olso, need testers, maybe Stock ICS and Stock GB olso need testers)
Instructions:
Install as normal apk over the existing cosmic flow
Notice* : 1.if you whant to revert to your original cosmic flow just uninstall it normaly
2. It might cause one or two FC's but eventualy works flawlessly

Works on my Acro S stock ICS firmware .55.
BUT... Sometimes it force closes, sometimes it's stable. Weird but it runs smoother than the old Cosmic Flow.

Uninstall the previous one, either by Root uninstaller/titanium or simply delete CosmicFlow.apk from system/app

Like what ARNOB said, delete old apk (CosmicFlow.apk) from /system/app, paste the new one and set permissions to r-w-r--r--
After that, reboot to recovery Wipe Cache, Wipd Dalvik Cache, and Fix Permissions (you may not do this but just to be sure...)

Sorry, but why are you resizing UP? If you want a good quality png, you need to resize DOWN. That means form XXHDPI to XHDPI...

Will do i will post tomorrow but systemui will be hdpi ! because am not finished yet and iam theming "semcphone and phone" to black
(the rom will be Black Edition) and next version will be white edition ^_^
As you the crowd want
the "Rom" not ready yet ! there are somethings like :
1-system ui
2-settings style
3-make calendar and phone and dialer black
4-working calendar

@fernoct r.3 theme engiene is not ported directly to 4.1.2...dev like niaboc79 and @rockernaxo they have worked very hard to bring us theme engiene on our antique devices by some tricks and millions of brainy works..As far I know complete port of 4.3framework..some modifications on semeicgeneric.apk and system ui as well is required for complete themeeing....So being on aoba pro you ll not able to get complete theme engine..So wait for somedays for nature advance rom by @rockernaxo to xperia ion or use existenz ultra..
