Headphones for One are unbranded beats - One (M7) Accessories

The headphones on this phone are really good.I have over the ear studio beats and these ear buds produce more base and are very clear Htc bought half of Beats so what technology u think they will use?Very surprised nobody is talking about the quality of the headphones I tried my gf new iphone 5 headphones and these destroy them it was funny watching her face.I Think the ear buds are unbranded Beats

Just a shame about the lack of buttons on the stock headphones.

I found that they have too much bass. Used them for 5 minutes and gave them away. Nice if you listen to hip hop and dubstep but not metal. Definitely not for metal.

The buds are indeed suprisingly capable.

I was going to mention the earphones on here. I can't think of any that better them! clearly HTC are going all out to get this phone right.

Hmm gonna have to give them a try later and compare them to my actual beats.
Thanks

Yes the supplied ones are pretty good. Much bass but thats ok for my music. I have better ones at home, but now i´ve an alternative with a button :good:

You can also buy the htc 240 set which is similar but they have the track skip, volume change buttons also. These and the urbeats are the only ones that can do this from a wired pair with this phone as far as my research has led me to believe.

I have been really surprised with the headphones! Definately makes up for not including headphones in the One X.
Actually almost every headphone sounds nice when plugged into the One.

That of course is a possibility. I got mine in Taiwan at the HTC store and the ones that came in the box are unbranded beats. They sound excellent, not as good as my Bose but very good for being included for free.

I have Klipsch head phones and I compared them to the head phones that came with the One. The klipsch have much clearer crisper sound and comparable bass. Just my .02. But the klipsch were not free with the purchase of a phone. I did not find the stock headphones to have good sound.

Nope look the same to me as my international one x. They are good for included headphones better than most. Now if we are judging them based on headphones well we know how good Beats headphones sound which is to say if they sounded as good as they look they would be decent headphones but every review will tell you they are eye candy not ear candy

Was pleasantly surprised by the very good headphones that came with my one v.
Looks like HTC is finally paying attention to detail and not giving crappy earphones with their smart phones.
Totally unlike a certain company which gives you the same earphones whether you buy an iPod shuffle or an iPhone 4s.

therefore its called lifestyle headphone. if HTC bundled HTC One V with Beats headphone, then you are most likely have to pay $120 more for your phone. just like HTC Sensation XE.
Hah! Yeah
Since HTC has already bought beats, I suspect it won't be long until they start to charge a premium for the headfones.
Of course only extremely dumb or extremely rich people or both would actually buy it

There is an audiophile adage,

I'd have to agree though that Beats are also low quality. Wish there was a way to get rid of the beats branding on my phone..

I use pretty high end etymotic and klipsch in-ear-monitors, and once you try those, you can't go back to cheap earphones. Everyone's different though.
Ive always liked Samsung stock headphones. I like the way they fit in my ear, I know they are not as good as some expensive ones but combined with voodoo sound and a nice equalizer they're pretty impressive.
That being said, I use my beats headphones all the time now, They where free with my HTC.
The Stock one is good. But I also have the free sennheiser px100ii with galaxy note.Feels like heaven while listening music with it .

Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda app-developers app
To be honest i've found the stock headphones fine until I flashed a new ROM with Beats Audio installed. Just can handle the bass now.
They are not bad for the price which is free. I also have a pair of klipsch android version which for the price are amazing, I also have a pair of beats tour which are ok a bit to much base but sounds good with awesome beats equalizer. Now my go to head set is the Bowers & Wilkins p5's they are simply amazing.
The stock Note headphones are on the cheap side and that shows on the audio quality. I use some old in-ear dual drive Panasonic headphones and the difference is huge. The next step for me is the Martin Logan Mikros 70.
not sure...till now its still in the box.
i think their the normal ones samsung supplies cos i got similar ones with my gs2 also
They are o.k for a standard set. - But the quality of the earphones are not as good as in the past. Still have a couple of earphones from my samsung omnia, and they go much louder than these delivered with the note.
But if you want to use them for high end music they are quite rubbish I think
After some good usage out of them I've realised they're not as great as I originally made out... Still good for free and will be ample until I can get a decent set.

They really are awful. They feel like they will break in your hand. I tried them just to see how they would sound, never touched them again. I use my skull candy ear buds. Not the best in the world, but they have a good flat eq; which I like being a guy who records, mixes, and masters music.

They're unmarked noise-cancelling Beats. They're not amazing quality, but they're certainly not terrible. 7/10 maybe. This has been discussed in the other forums for the carriers who received headphones with their phones. Seeing as I didn't pay extra for it, and not all carriers received it with their phones, I'm quite happy with it. The headphones work, they didn't come broken or defective, so why complain? Beats is designed for low bass, so if you're listening to country or pop music, it's not going to sound great. While listening to the music genres it was designed for, I was pleasantly surprised at how well the music came across. Listening to spoken audio or music with little bass will not be perfect on any Beats product, let alone some free earbuds. Bose or Audiotechnica will blow these out of the water across the spectrum, but when you didn't pay specifically for them, these are quite satisfactory.

Bluetooth ones will more than likely have all controls (volume and answer buttons) working. I strongly recommend the Apple Earpods though if you care about the microphone. I have tried many highly praised wired/BT headsets and none of them have usable mics on the N5.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/CredDeal-X-Series-Foldable-Bluetooth-Headphones/dp/B00CQ2W20Q
Currently using these Bluetooth 4.0 Headphones with volume adjust buttons, mic, and a power button. Relatively simple. One piece of wire that connects the two pair of headphones and a small battery in the two earbuds that can play about 4-5 hours of music streaming over Bluetooth. I usually work out with these, so I had to get a pair of Bluetooth headphones that are light! So I can testify to their quality! Sound is solid as well, the sound is fairly close to my Klipsch S4 (II) earbuds. Headphones? Meh, I never buy bluetooth for those haha.

Yeah, I'm not an "audiophile" (I really, REALLY hate that word) but I am an audio enthusiast (been in the audio industry for 15+ years), and I gotta recommend staying away from anything Monster or Beats branded. You are paying 10% for the headphone, 90% for the brand, and they generally sound like crap.
You want good buds for a good price, go with Yuin. IEMs- Shure or Westone. Cans- Sony, Beyerdynamic, higher end Sennheiser (their low end is crap), Grado, some AKG, HiFiMan, certain V-Modas. Portable supra aurals- Ultrasone has some good ones and the Koss Porta Pro's are pretty much unparalleled for their price and I'm pretty sure that they have ones with mics and controls now.
Bottom line, if they are mainstream and all your friends say to buy them, don't. The best values can be found in brands that don't spend millions on advertising.
