Any Rom is for Australia 3

Is it any ROM for 3 Australia?
i using the WIFTBL WWE DIAMOND ROM V7.5 - FULL
But sometime can't receive the mms....
Please Help

please repharse the question it makes no sense...

Did anyone know abt it ?

I have used most of Duttys, SwiftBlades, Panosha's ROMS on 3 Australia and never had any problems.
3 has some funny arrangements with it's mms, you can't get them from all providers, for example my dad on orange uk when he sends me an mms I get a hyperlink to it instead of it just playing directly.
So I don't think the rom is your problem

I try to reinstall the rom......SwiftBlades 7.5

Still can't receive any mms ....in 7.5

maybe its the person sending the mms to you... they dont have access to that service...

for some reason i can't receive the larger file ....

Do some research dude... Ring your provider...
I highly doubt it's the ROM! As all ROMs contain Arcsoft MMS as the MMS client. Try reinstalling another version of Arcsoft MMS - Google it.
As earlier suggested: It is most likely the provider it is coming from.
Also pretty sure MMS has a cap of 300kb as a file size. Any larger than that won't work.
Make sure if you know you're about to receive a file that it has been re-sized or use another method to get the 'multimedia' you are after.

Danish provider avatar not working

I use, and have chosen in my CP settings, the danish mobile provider TDC, but it seems the avatar is not working.. the link (http://forum.xda-developers.com/images/providers/Denmark - TDC.gif) seems to be dead :-/

Found out that it's the exact same logo as 'tele danmark mobil' as seen on my profile specs on top

How do I activate the provider and country logo?

EAP-SIM supported?

Hi,
New French mobile operator "free mobile" is being using wifi with eap-si authentication to automatically switch phones on wifi when beingin the reach of one of its widely deployed hotspots.
Eap-tls is already supported by iPhone 4/4s and Blackberry, and free mobile has also closed agreement with Samsung for supportvin their android phones.
Any chance for support in Xperia phones? Will it be natively supported in ics?

If you have "802.1x EAP" in wifi options, then the phone is compatible.

Add a new wireless network and if in 'security' phone offers a protocol like '802 .1 X EAP 'or' CCKM EAP, then your phone is compatible -> from what I read.
The code exists in the drivers, but it lacks the necessary interface to fetch authentication data in the SIM itself.
Perhaps your will need an interface for reading information from the SIM operator specific?

Sorry to dig up this post but would be interested to know this as well (I'm using an Xperia Neo with ICS).
So far it seems none of the 2011 Xperia line is compatible. I was wondering about the new Xperia NXT lineup?

You need option EAP-SIM.
If you have only PEAP, TLS and TTLS options in 802.1x EAP, then it can't work.

For the eap-sim, you had to patch your android source and build your rom to have it or have a free rom if you have a similar phone than them.

I'm agree with you. I don't think eap-sim is interesting a lot of people except French people...

If your ril and radio are not able to send ADPU commands to your SIM card, your phone will never get EAP-SIM. I tried a patch on my htc desire : I've got a problem in the RILReceiver.

It will be nice to see EAP-SIM in most of ROM
SlimICS is really good on SGS, hope to see it in that rom too.

It is probably not implemented on AOKP, so you will need to wait, or try a sense rom (4.0 or an old 3.5).

I wasn't sure, but Sense Rom have a lot more functionnality than stock rom, so i tought there was probably the eap sim function...

I see, no, it appears all gay blackberry and iphone are compatible ! but very few android even ICS. French SFR claims this is because they pushed them to add the function.
Your thread is 3 months old, the real stuff started today, believe me both DHD and desire are not working, Cyanogen was said compatible it appears not. The trick is S2 seems to be compatible only with the specific Free Mobile Rom.
However, Free Mobile planned that stuff 3 months ago, i'm sure they'll find a way.

I am very glad that people started to see with my eyes. Long time ago I start to question many devs around here to port EAP stuff from devices like SGSII or Dell Streak, but no luck till now. The answer was "impossible". So Google must start working on his OS or he will lose in front of WP. The devices that have this kind of EAP are supported by the producer of device and not by Google. So we have only three ways:
1) Our devs to port something on our devices from devices that already have the option;
2) Our phone producers to start working on it and release updates;
3) Google to realize that secure connection is not only None, WEP, WPA, and WPA2.

i forgot to say that french sfr claims they test an app that do that for months on android, they produced a lot of custom android roms, maybe these specific sfr models will work

We know that phones bought from free mobile do support EAP-sim, so can someone upload a rom of a phone bought from free mobile so it may help the DEVs ?

Maybe free mobile could give app ? No free mobile employee here ?

Just go to Settings --> Phone Info --> Hardware-Information and look which model
you have.

If its the UK version then yes yours will be the D855

What is Bluetooth Sig and sap profile ?

For anyone else that wants the settings, I'm sure it's on all the phones, just look in the settings, in bluetooth test. Or just screw around in the settings (dialed up with the number posted earlier, but in place of 855, put your phone model designation) until you find APT-X codec.

The device your streaming to (Car Stereo, Bluetooth Speaker, etc..) will also need to support AptX for it to make a difference. Otherwise it will only use the CODEC that it can sync to the other device with.
