Tested it's stable for me. If you get reboots lower your OC and you'll be fine. Also in about 2-3 hours i'll make another build that i've been testing public. (Smartassv2, OC tweaks, and less loggers and debugging which should make the system faster). I'll try to update kernel as much as i can because i found many useful msm/andreno patches.
P.S. if anyone worked with github PM me with a tutorial because i want to upload sources and i don't know how.
Cheers!

Nice, thanks for feedback.
To be honest iirc i don't remember if i had a wi-fi problem at first installation, anyway let me know if problems will occur.
I'm particular interested how do you feel with battery life in addiction to new governors, i feel good with lagfree right now and i'm loosing 2% overnight.

Good work!! Unfortunately, I can't test your kernel since I have a P1000L tab...
Just one question, you said that you choose to avoid RAM and LCD undervoltage. Can you tell me why? I have been using aggressive undervoltage settings for LCD (2.1V) and I haven't noticed anything until now. No glitches, no weird things. But I know that this can change between devices. Do you know if anyone has had any kind of problems with undervoltage?
Thanks!
Ronan
Ronan, good work to you since i've only applied your patches Thanks.
About RAm and LCD undervolting i've always had some doubt about the real gain in battery save and after seeing this post from Technomancer i've decided to give it a try.
Till now my battery last even better than before, don't know, it could be a placebo effect though
Too bad that i have only one feedback till now that i have 45 downloads

Anyway, are you using it with my rom or another?
I suggest you to stay with overcome kernel ( and rom if you have it) and maybe try again it once you will do a future wipe for a future rom.
I know, i can be boring but i do not have all these problems.
Thanks.

Thank you!

[KERNEL][JB 4.2] Devil Kernel [Silk smooth & Hell fast] (UPDATED 24/06)

Hello People
Since long time I have seen many people struggling and requesting someone to share GREAT devil kernel.
*****And here I came**** So I requested DerTeufel1980 and luckily he accepted to share the kernel
without compiling from source i.e. by extracting from his supersonic HellyBean ROM.
That is enough talk
How to install
1-Make sure you run JB 4.2 with stock CM partitioning.
2-Reboot into recovery.
3-Choose kernel zip and flash.
4-For better performance wipe cache & dalvik cache.
N.B. I don't make any modifications to the kernel, I just extract the kernel and share it.
Kernel Source : https://github.com/DerTeufel/samsung-kernel-aries
Features
1. Linux Kernel 3.0.83
2. Normal OC Support ( 1200 , 1300 and 1400MHz steps )
3. Live OC Support ( up to 150% )
4. Voltage Control support
5. ZRAM Support
6. SWAP Support
7. KSM Support
8. Dynamic FSync Support
9. RAM Choice ( 382 , 395 , 408 , 439MB , with auto patching of Bigmem libs )
10. CPU Governors - performance , powersave , userspace, ondemand , conservative , interactive , smartassv2, lazy , lagfree, minmax, lulzactive, wheatley
11. IO Schedulers - noop , row , cfq , zen , deadline , zen , sio

Kernel will have the same date tag as the ROM version it is extracted from.
First, so every hellybean release? Also it would be great if you provided deviltools as well.

Will upload a new version tonight with devil tools already included in system/app
Edit : no it will be better if I included it in data/app so that you're free to delete it or keep
Sent from my GT-I9000 using xda premium
Better as /data/app I think too cause you know there's that issue with NsTools that sometimes needs a fix perms to give access to governors settings.. Well the fastest way to fix perms on DevilTools is to use fix permissions apps from market and apply fix perms on it only but the app won't see DevilTools if installed as system/app.
It's about the same but will just spare a reboot to recovery, check that system is mounted, fix permissions,wait....or use RomManager which with the fix perms process will be little long too.
Why not do the whole fix perms by using RomManager or going to recovery, Mount all partitions and apply while we're on it but as it's not mandatory better have choice.
Can we also report bug's ?
Because wifi isn't working here with devil kernel and the latest cm nightly.
And of course thank you very much fort making the kernel accesible

Litekernel's default governo is userspace, so you can change manually at performance settings to interactive.
I've uploaded new image in first post. If you install that, it would fix without set governo.
Its only for pacman?

I'am sorry but this kernel has the deep sleep call issues.. the kernel that came with the PAC-nightly didn't had this problem..

Are you 100% sure that pac nightly did not have deep sleep issue? Maybe you just have not spent much time on it?
Coz in my opinion all the roms above 2.3 have the deep sleep issue, but i have not checked pac much.

Yeah they released it about 24 hours ago or so. I believe they do. I never look at it, but I remember someone mentioning the release of the code

Can confirm that the hiss bug is finally totally fixed with lg's update!
@bruce2728 !!! I know You from Sensation Development, nice to see You here! Will we see some good stuff for G2 from You?
Damn, it's good too see that dev community is getting bigger.
Oh and I can confirm - for example dorimanx used 20B source in His kernel update, and dr87 will use it in upcoming Mahdi Rom beta update.
Btw, it would be nice to see a nice AOSP kernel, just an advice

Maybe. I've only had the phone since Wednesday, i didn't know lg had fixed this bug already so i did it myself.
This replaces the lg sound effects with CM's dsp manager.

Hello,
Thank's for this mod.
Does the kernel is also patched for booting on the 4.2.2 bootloader ?

I used AutoRec to install recovery which downgrades the bootloader and it works for me.
I added the patch to dts with the dummy strings.

Ok thank's for your answer.
For understand well, if we have a d802 4.4.2 with custom recovery and we install your mod, we'll keep custom recovery ?

Yes, this only flashes a boot.img and puts a few files in /system
It will not touch the recovery partition.

New version coming in a minute with knock on fix as the knock code seems to break knock on if you don't have KC installed.
Sent from my LG-D802 using Tapatalk
That is by design I think. I had the same impression. Knock code disables knock on.

Actually my touchscreen is faulty, nothing to do with the kernel though. I talked with lg because I would tap on a link for example and it would select one about a centimetre below it.
I've got to sent it back to 3uk for replacement.

I'm on AICP, not stock. This is a CM kernel and I don't believe it will work on stock.

Won't work on stock. I am trying to figure a way to get stock to boot my kernel. Until then, I can only support CM

Nothing seems to work on Kernel Adiutor. The color controler you linked worked though.

It works fine for me. Have you tried clearing the app data/cache?
In case anyone was wondering, this does not work on SlimLP.
