I don't use it for business I just want to unlock ONE single phone, my phone, but I don't want to pay because it is TOO MUCH.

my p8 lite firmware is damaged, no upgrade menu appears, no app can be lunched, just setting is open, recovery menu is lost, bootloader is locked and phone is not rooted.

Use the search you must have done to reserect a 1.5 year old thread, there is a sim unlocking sevice offered by jocky...

Will not SIM unlock it's just an app unlock.
Jockey is the SIM unlocker for Dash users
i got it done by thru ebay for $18 (cheapest i could find)

Not expirienced enough to know the difference. It has got windows mobile 6.1 on it so i guess it is cid unlocked and i just need to sim unlock it.

Like others new Threads...and newbies...read some posts on XDA before asking.
Answer: it is actually not possible to SIM unlock HTC Artemis, P3300 from the operator you buy it.
1° there are some links on the web where you can buy an unlock code for SIM unlocking P3300.
2° Ask your operator if it is possible to give you the unlock code.
3° If you got some skills on programming this device, help community to find an unlock sequence for it.
I hope this answer will be for you and any futur (in two days) questions about that very usefull.

One could always hope
Rom update will not unlock the device.
You can use code to unlock or if more adventurous, than there is software hare! maybe not free, or you can take a look on ebay.
Beware unlocking using software means:
Flashing Hardspl
Flashing Radio
and than you can do this.
This may have warrenty issues. with software you can unlock, CID and Security also.

There is a paid sevice (5 usd) called dc unlocker, some user reported it's possible, ask them. Luck!
Hey I did request my password about a month ago. Can I still use the same pass in the future if I want to unlock my bootloader?

Hi, I have had this phone (honor 7x) for a while and I am planning on using another phone as my daily driver, so I thought of rooting this phone and put it to some special use. I want to root it and get magisk and try that out but every guide I've read online refers to the unlock code from Huawei. I have their account and everything since day 1 but I can't seem to find an option to get a code from there. I have read in some posts here that Huawei aren't giving out anymore unlock codes.
Is there no way I can root this phone and get twrp/custom roms etc now?

Bro.. M also noob here.. It's very sad.. this forum is very slow... No one is replying here... I posted few threads.. I haven't got reply.. Maybe becoz honor 7x is old now
Anyway for unlocking bootloader u need to dawngrade ur device from oreo to naugat... And then try unlocking ur device by using dc unlocker
