Is there any problem with porting a rom from galaxy s4? I am about to atempt it. But why am I the first..or have people tried? If people have tried please tell me why.

The Verizon devs have gotten the multi window ported from the note 2 working. The ROM only works for verizon but he said he would release a universal ROM for us to flash soon.

I was thinking of installing the cyanogenmod but if that makes my Spen useless I don't think it's worth it.
Hope someone comes with a solution.
I was looking at porting the Eclipse ROM from the Verizon Note 3 to T-Mobile but all the guides I've read don't help. Does anyone know how to go about porting such a rom? Or a guide that works so I can try it?
