Bodyguardz Carbon Fiber full body armor - One (M7) Accessories

I just ordered the carbon fiber full body armor in white from BodyGuardz. Use coupon code: save20 and get 20% off. I plan on just using the back piece, I already have a Zagg HD for my screen. I will do a review when I receive it next week.
http://www.bodyguardz.com/armor-carbon-fiber-skin-htc-one.html?dir=asc&order=sort_priority
Update: Received it yesterday, nice packaging, excellent quality. It comes with the sides, speaker pieces, and a screen protector (I decided not to use them), installation of the back piece was easy for me (maybe because I'm used to installing zagg hd screen protectors), I used the zagg spray solution to spray a light must over the back and then I proceeded by aligning the piece, once that was done I began squeeging out the fluid. It covers the entire back (minus the camera lens, flash, & Mic) including HTC letters, this is better than the ghost armor imo because the ghost armor doesn't cover the htc letters but instead has an ugly square cut out. Result is very nice, pretty much like the picture provided by BodyGuardz. I will try and post some pics.
Update: It's been a little over a month now since I installed the skin on the back of my phone, so far all is good, no peeling, no edges lifting up, no dirt or stains! I gotta say this stuff is holding up very well. I highly recommend this product. I'll report back in another month.

The only thing that concerns me with this product is when it comes time to replace/remove it will it pull off the HTC letters or are they machined out and a part of the body? This stuff had some very strong/sticky adhesive!

Is it grippier than the naked phone? Naked phone is pretty slippery.

Yes, like I said it has pieces for the front speaker areas plus it has a screen protector. No point in seeing the front because I did not use any of the side or front pieces. I already have a Zagg HD so I'll keep the screen protector as a spare.

looks really nice! i'm about to order a wooden vinyl cover from ebay!

does anyone have any experiance with these? it says they are textured. i've got a leather vinyl on my laptop lid and that feels/looks very authentic, i'm wondering if these are anything like that.

Sorry, I have no idea.

I would like something like that if it was matte and didn't give a shiny look. BodyGuardz also has the full body clear but it looks glossy.

White case for GSM model. I know someone else already created a thread on this...

Is there a totally white case out there for the GSM Google Play Nexus that...
-Doesn't Stain, yellow or attract dirt
-Covers most of the device
-Doesn't have fiberglass pattern like ultra capsule
-TPU preferred
I know there is a recent thread created about this topic, but I don't really want to post in that thread for obvious reasons.

No. Based on the first bullet point, no.
Lol. They're all going to get dirty. There's nothing you can do about that.
I got a clear one for my wife's white nexus and its great. Its made by amzer and sold on amazon. I think it was like 8 bucks.

Maybe with special coating. But i doubt it will be reasonable priced.

Please do. I love the Rearth case and the fear of the staining the white paint has been preventing me from indulging a purchase. My white Cruzerlite case, and even one of those cheap eBay S-line hybrid case, was yellowing after a couple days of light handling.

Thanks for the input guys. The Ringke slim case looks nice, but it doesn't cover the whole device. It looks like the Cruzer Lite will stain apparently. I may just have to settle on another color...white looks so cool though

Matte replacement battery door?

I'm looking for a matte replacement battery door. I hate the glossy feel of the SGSIII, it's too slippery, and I know I'm going to drop it if I don't do something about it. At the same time, I'd rather not use a cover which adds bulk. Do replacement battery doors exist yet?
So far, I've only found metal (kills NFC, impedes GPS and cell reception) and fake leather doors.
Until a nice dark blue or black rubber coated door shows up, I'm making do with the original Samsung clear slim cover - it barely adds bulk (still fits in car docks etc) and has more grip than the original cover (made from wet soap from what i can tell). There's a thread with pictures of it in this forum.
edit: typos.
Just do what I did with a glossy Speck case for iPhone, when I had one.
Get a sponge for dish washing, and instead of soap, use toothpaste and "wash" the back cover. After 2 minutes you have a nice DIY matte cover
Just get a rock case. It's feels like it is barely there and offers a great feel.

I did something like this to my old i9100 (S2) and it turned out beautifully. Here is an XDA thread that inspired me to do it! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1308284 I don't know if I will do this to my S3 yet though!
Yeah looks real nice on the S2. I do this all the time for miscellaneous DIY projects when I want to remove glossy coats.

An Invisible Bumper Skin?

Does anyone know of invisibleShield, Bodyguard, or Ghost Armor like protective skin that is bumper only for the S3?
I'm rocking the carbon fiber back cover, so I don't want anything on top of it. I already have Diztronic TPU case, which is great, but I want to go more minimalistic. TPU bumper makes it look geometrically funny. So I'm thinking if there could be a bumper like protective skin out there.
Any thoughts?

I use this, its a ***** to put on the side bumper skins but it works. The best skins I have ever used and the most coverage of any company and very reasonably priced.
Just be careful if you use a case over it, some cases that fit the phone very snugly might peel off the skin, but I found that if you let the skin sit for a couple of days that solves the problem.

Yeah that's what I'm getting at. Basically, I don't like cases. iPhone 3G and Galaxy S Captivate that I had were only protected by zagg invisible skin.
But on the captivate it started peeling off, so I ripped of leaving only the sides and I loved that.
I rarely drop my phone, the skin will just be protection from small bumps, e.g. keys / table.
So, about that invisible bumper skin ... anyone?

I didn't specifically say zagg in my post. It was just full body protectors in general. There are many companies that make them. Read the reviews and then choose the best one. Because as far as I know, that's the only way you're gonna find what you're looking for.

The link works for me, try it now.
I am using the full body kit from them, excellent coverage, I think they go a bit overboard covering everything, but hey that's a good thing.
Absolutely the best skins I have used, I tried Zagg, ExtremeGuard, Bodhguardz before and they are all pretty average, stay away from Zagg altogether.

I own the case and the packaging is definitely more premium than the modello lol. If it was sent in a simple package I'm sure they could charge $5 and still come out with a profit.

The screen protector rocks it was easy to install compared to any other I've done and screwed up! At first there where a few spots that I was sceptical about but they have worked them selves out over the last 2 hours(adhesive had to dry) I would really say this is a superior product. I'm really glad I waited. The screen felt hard to move your finger across at first now it is as smooth as butter. Its really hard to tell there is even a screen protector on the phone it is very clear. My only complaint is that other does hold finger prints. I love it I give it 5 stars!!!

I agree the protector felt "sticky" for the first day or so. I was worried that would be permanent. Now, as you say, it's smooth as butter. While it does hold fingerprints, I find it easy to clean. I'm pleased with mine.
My only problem has been the curves, as you would expect. While this is MUCH better than anything else I have tried, there just does not seem to be enough "stick" at the edges and the air keeps creeping in. Having said that, it's not getting as far as the screens active area.
I'll give it 8/10. Most only get 6 or lower.
Martin Fields have been my 9/10s in the past but they have really dropped the ball with the SGS3.. They are barely 5/10s on the SGS3.
Thia is an awesome screen protector. Used both sp on original phone and the replacement and it took one try each. Im usually one who ends up ruining 2/3 protectors and going into mad rage and making up curses....but this was so easy and looks like its not even there. If your squegee the outer layer too much u will get more orange peel effect than not so try to take the bubbles out in least amt of scrapes...but it won't be noticable unless you're looking for it and when the screen is off which is no biggie. Clear as hell and so nice...sgp screen protectors win again....this is my second phone with it. And I am pleased
Go order one:thumbup:

Damn just got a seido surface case and put it on and the edge peeled up and made the screen protector bubble up I guess I could replace it with the second protector but maybe I should wait until this one gets worse guess ill go back to my spigen modello case.
