first unread post? - About xda-developers.com

"First unread" setting does not work on stock android browser or desktop pc but does work on the XDA app.
Did a search but didn't find an answer.
?

You need to click on a "black arrow" icon which appears before title name of a thread.. that will get you to first unread post of that thread..

Forum: No Quick Reply Available

Hi,
I cannot post in a threat using "Quick Reply". the form is grey and I can't click inside:
In User CP I choose "Standard Editor - (...)" (Edit Option)? JavaScript is active (Browser: Mozilla Firefox).
What's the problem?
Well I am not sure what you have done so I will tell you what I have done,
In your post at the bottom right hand side there are 3 Icons "edit" "quote" and a "Quick Reply"
This is the Icon that I pressed, it took me into to Quick Reply message were all I then had to do was write this and press "Post Quick Reply".
Ah, sorry about this (a little bit dull *g*).
So it works good for me.

[Q] Forum Display

Hi,
Is there a way to only diplay the forum categories that you'd like to view instead of the whole list everytime? I'm just thinking that this would put less stress on the server as well as save some bandwith/time.
Thanks!
You can hide the content of a forum (you'll have just the title of the forum) by clicking on the arrow at the right end of the title.
What I have is a bookmark folder on my browser toolbar with all my individual forums set up as a shortcut. This way I can go straight to a particular forum. Just a suggestion

Icon showing threads that I've posted in

Apologies if this has been covered before but I couldn't find anything in my search.
The threads that I've posted in normally show an icon with a downward arrow, which makes it easy to distinguish. However, in the XDA 2010 style, I've noticed that the unread icon does not show this. As a result, when there are lots of unread threads in a forum, it's not easy to tell which ones I've posted in.
I looked at the XDA classic style and it does show the symbol for threads I've posted in regardless of whether they are read or unread. However, I prefer the 2010 theme. Much less yellow!
Can the XDA 2010 style be updated?
BUMP
Could one of the mods please help me with this issue? It makes it difficult to scan through a large amount of unread threads & know which ones I've posted in because the "you have posted in this thread" marker gets overwritten by the unread marker. Thanks!

[Q] remove selected text from calender title?

Hello.
Is it possible to remove selected text from the calendar title.
Example, say the word "SPRING" appears on many of my titles but I want that word removed if so, is that possible?
And what if I want to remove one word and then also switch another one?
Example, change. .. SPRING: GIANTS AT PADRES
into... GIANTS @ PADRES
So "Spring:" is removed and "AT" is switched to "@"
I want to do even more than this, but I'm hoping I'd some one could show me how to do this, If it's even possible, then I could expand it from there.
Thanks.

Click to collapse
With the native options in Zooper this is not possible. You'll have to process your calendar events through Tasker for this kind of string reformatting.

Dialer color?

How the hell do i change the dialer color guys? Why is the option not there within the theme store as the wallpaper, icons, clock are etc ?? I understand its under system settings but the only option i ever have is 'default' I figured if i downloaded some themes that more options would show themselves but nothing.... just default is the only option no matter what i try!! Obviously the dialer can be changed but how?? I know i can change the accent color (top of the dialer near notification tray) but the dialer itself has me at a loss!!! Am i doing something wrong?
