I have had some people PM'ing to do this MOD for a stock root setup so here it is. This will only work with Stock LG8 firmware.
If there are any issues let me know.
Flash with CWM or TWRP.
As always, flash at your own risk and make a nandroid first. If you you like it hit the thanks button.
Thanks,
Thanks bro.
Thanks for this, I'm assuming this is for a deodexed stock Rom? Or will it with on odex?

Should work on either I believe but mine is odex and it works fine.
Thanks worked great now if I could get rid of the am/pm. I know there's a thread but I need a flashable I'm no good with edited and recompiling files. I'm also noticing some sdcard issues since flashing this... apparently it's having random unmounts, either before or after rebooting the phone. I've never had this issue until immediately flashing this? Any ideas?

Does anyone know if this works for TW or only AOSP/AOKP roms?? I'm still on stock, but I'm rooted.
Beats works on stock. Just have to be rooted. Never tried dsp manager on stock. I flash my phones as soon as I get em.
Couldn't screw up your phone, though. Try using romtoolbox (just requires root), or download the apk. It's available on this site. The trick is getting a version that is compatible with your phone. That's the service romtoolbox provides.

Thanks I was looking for something like this to update my CWM, I;m still on 5.5.0.4 or something because I was dual booting. Now I just need one ROM, so thanks for this.
Much better, touch recovery, I was sick of going down long lists, at least you can hold down vol buttons to move around, on GS2 recover you have to click, click, click the vol buttons to everytime. This is even better though.
Thanks for all the love guys :good:

You would need a rom for phone bro. This kernel alone wont do it for you. My guess is the USA notes have a different layout. There is a high chance you flashed a file or files to the wrong place

But i've installed the deviant kernel and ktoonez kernel.

Well that is the problem, there is no stock kernel zip you can just flash( at least none that I can find for the M919 ).
Only way would be to flash stock firmware via Odin 3.07
