4g speed increase?

So has anyone else noticed an increase in their 4g speeds? I was comparing my phones speed to the wi-fi in the panera bread here in Franklin, tn and when I kicked it over to 4g it was much faster than before. Usually I would get between 6-8mb on wimax l, but this test jumped to 15mb.

I have noticed better 4g as well. It seemed to start about 3 months ago for me. The max I have seen is 13Mbps but that was only once. I am averaging 8Mbps overall

Its worse for me, I can barely get connected in my house now and when I do its 1mbit if that. (Slower than my 3g). In the outside world its stellar

Why does my phone keep disconnecting!?!

This is ridiculous sometimes its so bad it happens every 5 minutes while on my phone! This is the worst service I've ever had with a Verizon phone in the 13 years I've been with them.
It literally happened as I am typing this on my nexus.

Verizons network crashed yesterday, and you could still have an issue in your area. I had only 3g this morning in a strong 4g area.
I dont know about verizon, but there were 3.7 million android devices activated on christmas alone, so im sure this is just growig pains

What was the fastest LTE speed you have gotten on your GS3?

I've gotten 5710kb/s down and upload 1699kb/s upload. Wondering what speeds you guys have been able to get.

I'll never know how fast my AT&T LTE can be, because I'm not on unlimited, and each SPEEDTEST USES 20MB of my data quota.

I'm on the edge of the LTE service in my area. A mile or so south and i'm on HSPA. This is the fastest I've gotten in my house.

Im usually around 30 down and 12 up. Way better upload speeds then my cable connection at home, kind of sad haha.

See it in downtown Detroit as well.

Macomb township came on last night. It was on and off but I'm getting 16mb down so its flying pretty good!! I've been waiting since I bought a skyrocket last year for it to show up!

Straight talk LTE

Started talking about this in another thread.
As of this afternoon my gs3 on straight talk with AT&T sim has gotten LTE. No clue why. I was having trouble with mms and talked to straight talk CS yesterday and he mentioned my account had some discrepancies between the front end and back end of the network and they would work on it. Today, boom LTE.

When I awoke this morning of Friday the 13th, the unluckiest of days, I discovered my precious LTE has run it's course. I did all of could to resuscitate it but failed in all attempts. So here's to you LTE, I hardly knew ye.
