Hello all!
This is my first port of a ROM. It came from the Desire HD and I decided to port it to our device because we didn't have this ROM yet.
I am sorry for what i am gonna say but I will have to discontinue my rom because my phone was stolen.
I will try my best to continue working on it but the problem is that i needed the phone to check the new update for this rom and i cant release until i get the same phone on ebay because it is the only way to check it will work. Anyone who would like to help me get m phone faster, please donate. I was also planning to port the droid X rom and i will do it. Please help me by clicking on the donate link below.

When booting device will show a weird picture but it is the kernal that is messed up. Still boots, just ignore it.

Always good to see new ports coming to the HD2! Whilst I probably won't flash this (eurgh, iOS-esque) I'm very curious as to how you managed to get full HWA on GB. AFAIK there's only one other GB ROM claiming HWA and that's been said by other developers (I won't name who) to be a fake selling point. Still, this looks very interesting and I'd like to see how it stacks up against MIUI (which I don't use either, but it definitely has its merits).

AOKP stands for Android Open Kang Project. It is a custom ROM distribution for several high-end Android devices. The name is a play on the word kang and AOSP (Android Open Source Project). The name was sort of a joke, but it just stuck, just like our infatuation with unicorns.

for accelerometer to work, update your sensor blobs.
if you get hot reboots when using gmaps you'll also need "BOARD_USE_LEGACY_SENSORS_FUSION := false" in your boardconfig.

Links for gapps and the others don't work?

This ROM is nice. Would be better if the accelerometer was fixed and the links to the downloads restored. :good:

You'd better conduct factory reset and wipe cache partition first.
Backup your phone before factory reset. If there are some errors during flashing, you can flash official rom first and then try again.

thanks for the rom,
unfortunatley no bluetooth installed and you can not make it on also
kindly rectify

Bugs:
- Bluetooth not working
- LED indiator not working
- finger print not working
- S-cover view not working
- GPS not working for me (can some one confirm this.. A-gps working)
- off screen guesters not working
Rest all worring fine...
This is one of the best rom i like, with lots of features but this bugs really spoil the sports.

This ROM is fascinating. we have worked a little Elephone in our group and we have made some improvements in developer mode for experimental reasons. in our opinion it is the best result that has given us. I hope the developers continue to improve it.

[DEV][WIP]EMUI 3.1 for GALAXY E5 (Full of bugs)

Hi,
I successfully ported Huawei Emotion UI 3.1 (EMUI 3.1) from Huawei Honor 4X (msm8916 version) to GALAXY E5 (SM-E500H).
The ROM currently boots fine but it's full of bugs.
Let's talk about what's working:
- Touchscreen
- HW acceleration (GPU)
- Power and back buttons (Recent and Home buttons are not working).
- Bluetooth
- More I probably forgot
What's not working ?
- Everything else such as:
- Wi-Fi (can't activate)
- Audio (Earphones don't work ever)
- RIL (calls, IMEI Null)
- Camera (Back & Front)
- LED Flash (Torch for example)
- Huawei Launcher theme changing (icons don't change)
- Capacitive buttons (lights)
- Etc.
Similarly, I have successfully ported Flyme OS 4.5.4 from Redmi 2 to our device and Lenovo Vibe UI from Lenovo A6000 Plus. Both Roms have same bugs as EMUI.
If any of you guys knows how to fix these issues, please comment or PM.
There is NO DOWNLOAD link yet because ROMs are REALLY not ready to be installed. So please, don't ask for link.

The file is still in my PC but connection speed is a nightmare.

I am on this ROM right now and it works really smooth, there were some critical bugs as far, i guess i will use it as a daily driver when the call audio will be solved

remove these file from vendor folder ..../vendor/overlay/SysuiDarkThemeOverlay/SysuiDarkThemeOverlay.apk

Fixed in-call audio. Will make build asap
P.S. Will try to make next build as a flashable package that includes vendor, system and boot.
