Disable side volume buttons?

Like may of you i slide my phone in and out of my pocket 100 times throughout the day. Using it to get emails, social updates texting etc etc. I find myself constantly turning up or down the volume when i don't intend to.
Could just be the crappy case i have on it but wondered if there might be a setting that could disable these keys for the initial volume menu that pops up. Once programs are running and i need to change the volume, I'm okay with that, just from the home screen let's say.
Thanks!

[Q] screen adjustment like voodoo color?

Hi!
Got my n7100 for a couple of weeks now installed some custom roms kernels.. the phone is just a beast!! but im wondering if there is a voodoo color like app for note 2 ? I had a galaxy s and the screen whas just amazing after that app! if heard that voodoo is know scoobydoo dont know if that has something to do with this?...
Not sure if Note 2 still have Voodoo color support.
Anyway Note 2 doesn't need it anymore.
Note 2 solved the black clipping problem which S2 and Note 1 had.
If you want different color profile, you can flash custom kernel with Stweak. you can do it in there.
with stweak its getting worser at least for me.. but anyway thnx for the reply!

Changing Carrier Label?

Does anyone know how to change the carrier label on the Note 2?
I've tried many of the apps and none seem to work.
I'm on Novella Dos Rom but I also tried it on Cleanrom and I can't find a way.
Thanks in advance.
I believe the appropriate XML file is located in SystemUI.apk
Edit: i haven't manually changed it in a while. And when i did it was on a different device. Truthfully I'm not 100% how to change it on the n2 but i know the ROMs i run like aokp and other variants let me do it with ROM control.

Anything other than the default Rogers message. Maybe Samsung... even a blank message would be better. It ruins the clean look of my lockscreen. :*

City/Sate display Question

I just wanted to ask you guys, if the state, or location of the incoming caller is shown when receiving a phone call, on the S4?
I know there are apps for this, but wanted to know if the phone does this stock, out of box.
I really appreciate the help.
Thanks.
no it does not

Thank you.
Just to add on to the information, the T-Mobile S4 does not do this out of the box, but a subscription-based T-Mobile Name ID that is included on the phone does this for about $3 a month
