You can use Kies to repair it; you're looking for the "Cellular South" firmware on sammobile if you want the firmware, from which you can do an Odin restore.
I was able to get rid of all the Yahoo junk in mine without a problem.
I got it back with the file N5110XXBMD1_N5110OXXBMD1_BGL.zip flashed with odin.
The apps that I removed is:

The android market just gives me that striped animation anytime I try downloading an app. Have tried clearing the market cache, google framework service cache nothing seems to work! Just the new EU firmware OTA and rooted and removed the bloat apps and downloaded script manager from the market without any problems. Then tried to download a busybox app...thats when the market just stuck on the stripped animation and its been that way with everything else I've tried from the market incuding updates to my apps. Please any help guys??

Done a restart ?
If it does not help: Because you are rooted, you should be able to delete the Android Market. You can get the AndroidMarket.apk from the net and reinstall it(Unknown Sources have to be checked). But before doing something fancy, you should do a BACKUP, with CWM or RZR.

Yeah several restarts. Just got an update, it appears the youtube app also gets stuck with the rotating circle...cant load the video. Cant help but assume these are related. And also I've tried this on both wifi and 3G, same.

This is strange indeed. If even the solution above doesn't help, I would recommend you to flash you ROM via ODIN. Usually it should replace the missing files, so this could work. Do a Backup as mentioned above.
BTW: But generally your internet works? (via Browser)

Yes my internet works fine. I actually cant do anything requiring a usb cable since I lost mine and wont be getting a new one till the weekend maybe. I actually tried some other things like clearing the cache partition in recovery (stock) and logging out of gTalk and relogging in which solved similar problems for people online. Just seems everything is fine...except the market cant connect and download stuff, and youtube cant connect and load videos...I feel its a google account problem surely but dont have a clue what to do. Thanks for your response all the same.
First......Ensure SD Card is properly seated, open phone and make sure of this!!!
Do these :
Settings/Applications/Manage
Applications/All/
Downloads/Clear Data.
Media Storage/Clear Data....

I cant quite explain what happened, but I fixed it. It had to do with a botched backup/uninstall of google books with TB. I tried to back it up but it seemed to just hang up. Then I killed TB in the Task Manager and restarted it. I realised a backup had been made for the older version(1.46) instead of the new version(1.52). Google Books showed up as a system app after my last FW upgrade and I updated it (through the market) but the update made the app unusable(FC everytime I start it). I ignored all that at the time since I didnt use it actually. Tried to remove it yesterday and I guess that set this whole mess in motion. Thanks to all
I prefer using stock after removing bloatware as an app I need works best on stock.
Is there a way to repair google play?
I did not backup stock before removing apps as I planned to back up stock after removing apps as it is a long process.
thanks
First, clear data for the play store.
If that doesnt work, boot into recovery and fix permissions.
If that doesnt work you probably deleted something you shouldnt have, thus find a play store APK somewhere in the Theme/App thread and install from there.

Android Police have mirrored the latest play store apk. You can sideload it to your device.

Hi,
I new to rooting and android and have some questions.
I think I corrupted the google framework on my phone.
I rooted my TMobile SGN2 using the*toolkit and Odin and SU on my phone. I used Option#2-Flash insecure boot image, root and install busybox" . I also installed Titanium Backup Pro and backed up all of my apps but I didnt do a full image backup using CWM or anything*similar*
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O6BweCW5ck8.
I also used this method to add the wifi hotspot:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1974109
The phone worked fine for about 1 week but then*I then decided to call Tmobile support because I was having data speed issues on vacation and they told me to reset the APN and Search for Mobile Operators in the Mobile Network settings. *I forgot about the APN changes I had made and it restored the original APN to the factory settings. *
Now I have the following issues with my phone.
1) I constantly get this error and it freezes my phone for 15 seconds. "Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped"
2) If I goto the gmail app it says, "gmail has stopped" and it doesnt load
3) Now I cannot*load google play store any more so cannot install apps or do updates.
4) My*AllShare Cast Wireless physical Hub tries to connect to phone but doesnt connect anymore.
I have tried emptying the google files cache and stopped and restarted all of the google services, tried rebooting phone, taking out sim card and even went back the the original APN but the problem is still there.
What should I do?
1) Call Tmobile and see if they will send me a new phone? *I do have insurance but the phone is now rooted.
2) Just do a factory restore using this method?*http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UaZiO8vfrME
If I do a factory restore and the phone still has issues, will they be able to tell I rooted if I decide to use my insurance and get a new phone?
3) Try to use SU or some other way to just fix the issues I have?
PS, when I try to use my wifi hotspot now, the Tmobile Tethering wants me to active and setup their service, so Im no longer able to use my hack.
Please help me.
Thanks!

I figured it out! It turned out to be some kind of an error while updating the apps from play store. In the application manager there was a disabled update process which after turning it back on worked liked a charm (scroll all the way down to the bottom in the APP MANAGER-->ALL and it will show any disabled apps. Renable the app. I also decided to clear cache of all of the google services, gmail, app store, internet, etc. and then I deleted my google account. I rebooted the phone and added the google account back and viola... Its all back to normal.
But now that my wifi hotspot is not working, should I try this hack instead?
This application requires a "rooted"-device and (probably) a custom-kernel which supports netfilter (iptables). I only rooted my device but no custom kernel? Will it still work for me?

A while back I somehow found a way to prevent the play store app from updating. It involved the downloading of a phonesky.apk and I do have the file, but I cannot find the instructions I used that installed the apk file and no matter what I try, the play store app keeps updating. It's quite frustrating because I have a mirrorlink to my backup camera that has a NAV link to the phone that allows the nav to be on the player screen. The updated play store hampers the nav from working via the touch screen on the dash so it's quite a pain to get it to work right. If I remove the updates to the play store, everything works fine, but within minutes, if not seconds, the play store app again updates and all is messed up again.
This all happened because I had to revert to stock and re-root and do a restore to a previous nandroid backup, but somehow, something happened to the play store being updated by itself...
If anyone knows how I can implement the phonesky.apk I previously downloaded into the system again to prevent the market updating itself I will be so relieved! I have spent 2 days searching and cannot find how i did it before... It worked fine for over a year!
I have a Galaxy S4 running stock 4.2.2 Rooted.
Thank you to anyone who can help!
Aloha Ke Akua!
Hi all,
I have a 10.1 tab and for the past week or so I've not been able to access the play store. I've tried clearing the cache, rebooting etc but nothing I've tried works.
Does anyone have anything else I might be able to try?
Thanks.
Is your tablet an original one ?
Solution
This problem has occurred to me on many devices before.
Some of the most common reasons are:
Date and time are incorrect
Device is not original (playstore manually installed)
Google play services corrupted
Try seeing if you have any of those reasons above.
Date and time is the most common for me. Also if these don't work please root your device and install a custom rom with playstore pre-installed.
Go into "Manage App" and uninstall updates from the Play store.
