Hi,
I'm thinking moving from AT&T to T-Mobile and was wondering if I can keep my Note II, flash a T-Mobile rom,a modem, change the APN and be good to go.
Will I be able to get 4g?
Thanks for your help.
You gotta unlock it first but thankfully GN2 can be unlocked in a few mins. Look for the thread that has this info. I don't know where it is
You won't get 4g unless you do this here

This is legit. I have done this and it does get me 4G pretty much everywhere.
Don't flash a modem. Just warning you now. The default modem is perfectly capable once the AWS band is unlocked

From what I've heard some of the roms and themes do work.
But, be careful if a modem is included. Ez way to brick.

Wrong! I have told you many many times to post in Q&A. Also try Google instead of asking every question that comes to your mind. You would get the answer in 0.3 seconds.

Take a look at Task650's OP in the Original Android Development section, the rules he lays out are perfect. He covers all the bases on how to keep the forum on track and free of BS.

Upgrading from Stock to a nice debloated ROM, and Ktoonsez's awesome Kernel.
Can you leave a link where I can get that kernel?
