[Q] CM7 Alpha 4 SD file transfer and Accelerometer

I have alpha 4 downloaded, but i cannot do any file transfers from my computer to my phone. I was wondering if this is a known issue or if there is a way to get it working.
Also, how do i fix the slow accelerometer? I did what was said in the first post of the CM7 thread, but it didnt work.

Bump for new question up at OP.

Take the SD card out and use an adapter to transfer files directly from your computer, it will not read properly while in the phone.

Man u have to understand that alpha means its a test version not everything going to work all the bugs are getting worked on and they will realese when its ready. If its to much for u don't flash it and go with a diffrent rom that is more stable for u

Im changing it so i dont make a new thread... and cause i cant post in the development section yet... so i cant ask in the actual CM7 thread.

Is that what i use to be able to install SyndicateROM Frozen in clockwork? when i go to install it from sd card it in clockwork only shows folders and not the link to install can you all help me plz im using 3.0.0.6 thanks

I have tried this, but it does not work. Its faster, but very very slow still.

Hey Everyone,
This is an gingerbread themed ice cream sandwich keyboard .
App version : v2.3.7
How to install?
note: its very easy to install
but it requires -
1) rooted phone
2) root explorer
Steps to install :
a) place file "latinIME_2.APK" in your sd card
b) open root explorer
C) Go to sdcard n find the place where u kept latinIME_2.apk in your sdcard
D) copy it to system>apps
E) set the permissions to rw-r--r-- by ticking the all three in "read" column and tick the first in the "write" column.
F) and then press ok and then reboot.
atlast u will have ice cream sandwich keyboard

(MOD)(FLY IN WINDOWS)for stock and m1ndhx8r´s roms/Now works for THING ROM too

These are the theme mod´s with fly in windows efects and changed circle animations.
U can flash them in stock or m1ndhx8r´s roms.
I was borred and made them for my self,nothing too colourfull,i dont like my phone looking like Las Vegas casino XD.
1.download zip file of your choice and place it on the root of your sd card
2.make nandroid backup of your rom in cwm
3.reboot in recovery,wipe dalvik cache,choose zip from sd,flash it,reboot.
4.settings>display>animations>all animations checked...and enjoy..

first one is the best one for me,just cm7 loading circle,and fly in animations...pure clean and fast...other two are with some blue or cyan edges and glow...forgot which one does what,as i said i was borred and willing to share

yep,people just need to try it,i just restored stock back from cm7,got some nice themes for cm as well,picked them up from devian art,miui blue black,miui transparent,and meizu one by zdunex.

Go to UOT kitchen , open upload tab, upload your files, choose "flying" in Windows tab and after go to summary, click submit, et voilà that's all !

it should work,i did not tested in 3.5,dont forget always wipe dalvik cache before flahing it.
if it does not work,then extract framework.res..etc from 3.5 and upload it in uot kitchen...its easy,play around a litltle on their site..hope i helped...SALUTE

Yes it is...and to get back to stock just follow the steps i wrote,make a backup of your current ROM...and restore it when you try these or keep them,its simple..sorry for a late reply.
You can try all of 3 mods one by one flashing them one over each other and in the meanwhile your backup is safe on sd-follow the steps i wrote.Hope you going to like it

Well....1st its always smart to backup your rom when trying new stuff...2nd-they all have same animations but with different themes,blue glowing edges,overscrolling effects...fonts..etc
first zip is just mod with windows flying in stock colours and changed loading circle...other two are themed a little ...i cant remember which efects are where...
To repeat my self and to conclude-TRY THEM OUT
and try clicking thanks button if you like them

[WIP]Bootanimation Pure Android

WEll, i'm back with another boot animation!
This time it is like, pure android, but i have to say, part0 can be made smoother and part1 is probably getting a complete new look (thats why WIP), but for now; is it this. Look in the atrachment for a screenshot, but there happens alot more I don't know what is on the screenshots right now, bcuz I picked them random, so dont blaim me if there's a black screen as screenshot
How to install:
Use file explorer with root acces:
1. Copy bootanimation.zip to your sd
2. Copy it from SD to /system/media
3. Replace it with original bootanimation.zip
4. Reboot and enjoy
Small update is out: just add and removed some frames and maked it faster

EDIT: Well, not the best screenshots.... But you guys have to do it with it if you'd like to see how it looks, just install the bootanimation.zip from the attrachment in the way i have told you here ^ (most know it, but just telling LOL)

A nexus isn't for you then as you expect a file manager and touchwiz launcher functionality. xD.
1. File manager from play store
2. Alternative launcher.
3. Are you on 4.0.4 or Jelly bean or on older firmwares? I find browser fc to be a problem on 4.0.1 and 4.0.2. I no longer face force close on 4.0.4 and 4.1
4. If u flash back a stock factory image and re lock ur boot loader its as good as it was from the factory.
