Then you did not follow the installation instructions correctly.
Read it again and flash Gapps.

When you say "flash" you mean in the twrp menu, install this rom?

Flash it the same way you have flashed the custom ROM to it.
Oh, in case, you confuse (which I hope not), ROM refers to a firmware image while Gapps is a Google bundle package of variety of services.

[Q] Help with CM11 and gapps

Have latest CM11 installed with the latest gapps but every time I try to do anything with any of the gapps I get "not compatible with your device". Hangouts, etc... and play store doesn't even install. Help?

Please use file names, "latest" just leads to misunderstandings.

Yeah, good point, sorry about that. In any case, I got it working by using "small" gapps.

How to get past the parsing error when attempting to install apk

I just recently installed a stock(-bloatware) ROM from here which is pretty nice but I can only install apps from the play store. Otherwise I get the parsing error. I've checked the box for installing from unknown sources to no avail. Anyone know what I need to do? Thanks

I would try to flash with another ROM and see if the ROM is the problem.

Do a nandroid backup and I would flash stock, which is the most stable of all
You can download stock files to flash with Odin here
If this problem does not appear in stock, then the ROM is the culprit
I would suggest just finding another ROM, I stuck with Kit Kat for the hercules (Carbon ROM) since it's more stable than the newer ones coming out
Hope this helps

Google Pay overlay issue?

I am having a hard time finding the culprit for the overlay preventing me from finishing the Google Pay setup. What am I missing? I am on RR.
Have you tried disabling all apps with overlay permissions?

I think so, if I would have known not to install anything with GP it would be much easier now to do.

Are you trying to install google pay while rooted? If so you need to unroot before you install Pay. You will also need to hide Pay from root using magisk hide.

I think I installed GP 1st then rooted. I can unroot and see if that is the issue, I know about the hiding in Magisk...

Hit the uninstall button in MM, dirty flash your rom, or run the magisk uninstaller zip :good:

Nope. However, if your just testing to see if your app works without root, I'd dirty flash your rom, then flash twrp again and let it boot up. You won't have root, but all your modules will still be there if you want to root again :good:
Thanks Badger!
Well I disabled all overlays except for Android system because I cannot undo it without root and still having issue with drawing over. Unable to hit the next button after after entering my three digit code and agreeing to the terms and conditions.
