I am going to Root my HTC wildfire
but on the step of revolutionary it is freeze on the waiting for device

This is a correct guide.
I hope you have htc drivers installed properly. If u still get stuck, check another guide which in "wildfire index"

which windows are u running currently? i had the same problem with laptop running win7 and when i tried root with pc running xp then there was no such situation

The link is in the post above, but you do know that by flashing the Rom you will not gain s off? If that is what you were meaning in the first post?

just download rom manager from play store..! and flash cwm recovery..!
for this you must be rooted...!

What's that supposed to mean?Do you mean you cannot root 2.3.5?Try Gingerbreak,in that case.I rooted my Wildfire S at 2.3.5,just FYI.

Second, I think you should update your radio. It's 03M. Updating radio can improve battery life and all as I heard.

flashing roms won't change your radio.
for changing radio you have two ways:
if you are s-on,
you need to create goldcard,lock bootloader and flash whole ruu
if you are s-off,
you need just radio image and place it in sdcard in hboot menu.

I updated mine with just the PG76IMG. Created goldcard, locked bootloader and just placed PG76IMG on the SD card and it worked

S-off and unlocked bootloader are 2 different things. You can only S-off if you have,XTC clip and unlocking bootloader can be done in htcdev.com

So you have to downgrade it to hboot 1.01.001
See the 2 threads i mentioned to you before. Both of them will help you in downgrading hboot. This probably will be your first step towards rooting.

It shouldn't matter. Please read both the 2 thread thoroughly. Buzz downgrade i think is the only hectic process otherwise its easy.
