control led notification light brightness? - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

is it possible to edit some system file and set led notification light brightness to max? as far as i know - its controlled by light sensor, id like to set it to max all the time no matter what sensor is reading.
(without custom kernel )

Try perseus kernel, then adjust in STweaks

[Q] Screen Brightness

hi, i'm using HTC Desire HD with leedroid rom and kernel.
i read that to save more battery, i must turn down the screen brightness to a low level. but i want to use the auto brightness function but sometimes it isnt accurate to the environment(sorry for bad english). uhm any tweaks or mods that has customized auto brightness? thanks in advance guys
I found that the best thing to do is to do it manualy by using the brightness level app on the market which has a slider on it.
I use Tasker to set the screen brightness to levels defined by me in response to ambient light levels. Takes some experimentation to get it working right, but it's worth it.
Or then you can switch to CM7 as it has all screen adjustments built in the settings i.e automatic screen dimming level adjustments, different levels etc etc.

Front LED - Interesting Question

Currently, is there ANY ROMs or applications that allows you PWM it?
Instead of blinking/flashing the LED in just variable colours, is it possible to make it glow from dim to bright, bright to dim?
Thanks

[Q] the arc's LED are too bright

My device when charging, LED lights are too bright. This can be modified? Where does that set?
I use CM7.1.0.1
Thank you
Sorry man I dont think you can change it, you can only change the colour and stuff per app.
You can look around in : cyanogenmod settings - interface - LED notifications

How can I change vibration level on 4.2.1 ?

How can I change vibration level on 4.2.1 since I like it light and it is rattleling a little bit now....
use a kernel that supports vibration control, then use an app that supports that kernels vibration control to change the levels.

make default android brightness slider stop using PWM?

On the stock AT&T note 2 (although this is true for other versions as well) if you adjust the brightness slider down, the display with dim using PWM pulse width modulation which causes strobe flickering.
There are some apps that dim the display without using PWM. Right now I'm looking for a way to make it so that the default android brightness slider will dim the display without using PWM. Are any of the custom ROMs able to do this?
thanks
