The Seidio "Surface" Extended Battery Case for HTC Thunderbolt Extended Batteries is now shipping on Seidio's official site. Only a matter of time until it hits Amazon and the price starts dropping. It currently retails for $29.95 USD
UPDATE: The "Convert" Extended Combo kit and "Active" Extended Case are also now shipping. All options can be seen on the main Thunderbolt product page.

Yeah, I'll probably wait until it hits Amazon. Looks like it should be easier to hold (comfortably) then without a case. From I can see the bulge extends down further...
ya the case gives it a uniform fatness instead of the bulge. wish they didnt do that so they wouldnt have had to cover up the built in kickstand. but oh well.
Convert combo shouldn't be that far behind...

I wonder if it would be possible to remove the kickstand from the phone before snapping the case on? Seems having two kickstands would kill the sound pretty good

FedEx provides normal pickup and delivery service on these national holidays:
Jan. 17: Martin Luther King Jr. Day
Feb. 21: Presidents Day
April 22: Good Friday
Oct. 5: Columbus Day
Nov. 11: Veterans Day
As far as Memorial day in concerned, yes. You won't be getting anything delivered on Monday.

you guys do realize that all of the seidio cases are FLAWED!!!
they have a built in kickstand which wont allow the metal kickstand on the phone to be flipped open thereby allowing the speaker to work properly???!!
Oh, yeah. Ordering now! I have been waiting for this!

I don't have exact result but I feel the battery performance is twice longer than stock.

Yes it does add bulk to it. I was using a 4500mAh from mugen previously. Sent it back for an exchange for the 5400mAh one.
Well the thickness is twice the thickness of the original note. Given my battery can only last at most 8 hrs for stock. using this mugen one can last me 18 - 24 hs, sometimes 13-15. depending on how agreessive is the usage.
Tons of review out there. I believe the new 5400mAh will last longer than that.
Btw, the case they gave give a better grip of the phone and with a kickstand. how awesome is that. =)

Haha, thats true, I do feel the pinch when I buy it (and sometimes wondering if there's any real differences other than the branding).
But its kind of mitigated by their good aftersale response and free of charge exchange of my 4500mAh batt with the new 5400mAh batt.
I am satisfied! haha

I've sent a mail to mugen and they told me to send back the 4500mAh battery and they will send me the new 5400mAh for free. Sent it back today, update in 2 weeks (you have to send it to HongKong)
I've recently gone ahead and purchased two extra batteries (extended higher capacity versions). One 3300 mAh and one 4300 mAh. They both come with their own special (larger) battery back cover. This in turn makes the phone much thicker and no normal case or protector will fit anymore. I've looked everywhere and just can't find any larger cases.
Has anyone found or know where to look for larger cases that will fit S3's that have extended batteries? I really do need to find something.
Thanks

Issue is that not all that is on Amazon.com is available on the .CA site too... that link in the posting helped and talked about the Cell and Hyperion batteries and cases... as for Cell..can't get any of those on .CA site but thankfully the Hyperion cases were available so I ordered that...it literally was the only larger cases I could find online...but at last its something. Thanks aka for the link.

I think you are looking for what is called a Power Bank rather than just an extended battery:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/PowerBank-E...GXCK/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1345985658&sr=8-4
This is the one I am considering.
I've posted a few pics below. The only back cover that I could find with the Anker 4400 was blue so that's what I have on there. Can't really tell with the cover on. I might spray it with some white if I don't like it. I have a size comparison with my wife's iPhone in a Speck case. Not much thicker. I'll be carrying this setup around SXSW next year.

Sorry for the late reply, yes it does fit. Picture attached! Fits pretty good, is not loose by any means but it goes in and out as it did with the Surface Case for the stock backplate and battery. It goes in all the way to the bottom and the top spring clip holds fine.
Ignore the chibi batman box in the background =)

If you want batteries that list an MAH that could possibly be fake then get it. I learned my lesson ordering no name brand batteries and had a 3800mah extended from china performing worse than my stock oem 1800mah battery. If those are truely 4200 then they'll probably deteriorate extremely fast just like my generics. Stick with QCell they're still working perfect after a year for some members that have had it that long. Check the QCell thread. It's worth the money to get it instead of those since you'll end up spending money on one of those batteries and then again to replace it with a QCell lol. You can get the 4100MAH for around 20$ on Amazon. It might be only the ones with the white back covers that are 20 or black and the other is more expensive. If you do get a QCell and want to trade for a black cover let me know I have a Qcell black battery cover I'm trying to switch to a white one.

One last question , and I know this may sound silly.. With the trexcell TPU case and Qcell... if you lay the phone on its back will it lay straight/flat? I use gravity screen on/off and am wondering it will work because I don't know since there is a bulge if the phone will lay flat or not ( I don't like to lay it on it's screen )

The phone lays flat on its back with the extended battery cover without an issue for me. It even has these little dots that stick out in the corners of where the extended battery is so it gives it a better grip when you lay it down.

Hello,
my battery life is pretty bad nowadays, I think the battery that came with my I9300 is dying, it's draining fast,
So I searched in eBay for a genuine replacement (they sell fakes in my country so..), but I saw that they are probably fake too because of the low price.
but I found the 3000mAH Extended Battery and thought of buying it, untill I saw that my Balliitic SG maxx probably won't fit, and I want my phone to have a good protection, so is there a good case that can provide some decent protection for the phone with the extended battery?
Or.. maybe you know of eBay store that sells genuine I9300 battery or any other online store that sells genuine batteries and that ships internationally?
Thanks
Buy a zerolemon 7000mah battery and your case fears will go away

thanks for the help, but I really don't want my phone to look and feel like a refrigerator, I prefer something at max the size of the 3000. but that it will have a good protective case in the style of ballistic, that gives quite a good protection in case your phone falls on its screen ( which happened a few times with this case and it really saved it)
I just cant seem to find genuine batteries!

The Diztronic cases are great. Really good quality, and relatively inexpensive too. I have the matt Black one on mine.
I only wish they came in more colors (I'd really like a red one).
Guys I found a battery on eBay which looks nice, and I want you to tell me what you think about it :
