Trying to see if any advantages.
Meaning being the gs3 is Samsung
And the laptop.
Kies is preinstalled other than that
Not much else different.

And how's the laptop? I've thought of getting one to replace my aging Dell.

But damn this thing looks like a Macbook pro. Even with the bottom
Removed. Just made a decision to drop all my apple products especially after reading about the fox con factories worker abuses.

My wife is a long time Samsung junky so after having problems with her HP laptop we ended up replacing it with a tiny 12" Samsung laptop and it has been amazing. Battery easily lasts 5-6 hours and its very lightweight but powerful. We are very happy with it.
Same with our two S3s, Samsung 3D LED TV, Samsung 3D BluRay, 6x Samsung 3D Glasses, Samsung 3D Sound Bar...she really is a Samsung junky. I expect when we move to a bigger place it will also be Samsung washer and drier and definitely a Samsung fridge... I dont mind though. They make sexy products!

I bought it and love it also! The humor makes it rather enjoyable and voice acting thus far is superb. Little on the steep side at I think it was 5.99 but worth it IMO.

I remember watching my cousin play the first one on Apple IIe. I went out and bought the second one for my Commodore.
This one is the PC/PS2/Xbox version. But it comes with the original trilogy as a bonus. So far it only has the first one, but supposedly the rest are to follow. It looks like a port of the ST or IIGS version.

Heard about this today and definitely caught my eye. Still at least a year from a factory device but I did see that they will be planning on releasing this on the nexus and seeing as the s3 is one of the largest selling devices I can see the international version receiving this and hopefully our device
Will be keeping an eye on the development of this for sure.

Is already going to be released for the galaxy nexus and supposedly it will be available for any equivalent or better android phone at side point. Even if it isn't official I can see a developer porting this.

Definitely giving this a try as soon as it's available on the gs3. I think once you get used to it you would never want to switch back. Looks like it makes great use of the screen.

Looks amazing, but seems sort of redundant. Why not just team with Google and implement this as a redesign for Android? Or implement it in a similar fashion to CM10.

Here is a more in depth look which shows you some flaws which were pointed out on another forum
"Seriously, no one wants to do that kind of multi-directional swipe. That ignores the fact that the guy demonstrating can't read the text under his finger. And if he used his left hand he wouldn't be able to see the icon."

While it looks cool, it's definitely not for me. I prefer snappy, rather than fluid. Won't these animations tank your battery life?

yes because the phone they are doing it on has android buttons.
wth is it, just stick to nova launcher prime , its fast no lag
This is exactly why I love Android. There is so much flexibility in what can be done. If this did not lag terribly I would have to give it a try just to be different.
Can't do anything like that on some other phone OS's...
looks good hope someone ports it

TSF shell is faster than nova with 5x the animations.
Looks has nothing to do with the snappiness.
Japanese marketing is worse then watching apple commercials. Wtf is up with the random cat meow in the middle of the video?

That's my thoughts if this one dies. As long as the HDMI converter works on them. Haven't researched it yet though.

That galaxy 7" my mom picked to replace hers is doing nicely, I'm not sure it's a huge improvement but it runs well enough and probably lower in price now then it was a few months ago, especially with the first gen n7 coming down to $200 for 32gb. The screen alone would make it a better device then the a100 if nothing else.
OK. Asus memo pad. Its like $100 right now, and it has like a 5340ma battery, I'm all about that! Reportedly they're gonna come out with a new one for $150 though, and the Samsung one has an ir blaster built in, and multiwindow, and since it Samsung there should be a strong development forum to fallback on. Tough call.

Those look good but I'm not too concerned with the root ability ofy tablet, I'm more concerned on what it can do and if its smooth. If I go with the Samsung I'll want to mod the multi window so I can use any app with it though.
