Had Anakonda theme on Wicked Sensation rom. Tried downloading a diff theme ( Up in Smoke) thinking it would just switch to that one. But it seems I have a mixture of both now. How do i uninstall the Anakonda theme? Went to the Kuban Updater to delete it but it says it just deletes the file for Anakonda but doesn't uninstall the mod.?./
Switch to/apply "system" theme, then apply your custom theme
I've applied the second theme I was wanting but it seems it is overlapping with the first one. So thinking I need to uninstall the mod for that theme but dont know how.
I know. You dont "uninstall" a theme. Its usually not an app, but a collection of themed images.
Reflash your rom (without wiping) and you'll remove the theme.
Did you flash the theme? Or install it hough theme Chooser? If you flashed it then just like Cnexus said reflash your rom. If you used the theme Chooser then all you do is go back to theme closer apply system theme then reboot.

Metamorph gives me an error message saying it can't read the theme control file. It does this for every file I try. I'm putting the zipped files in the Android theme file of my sdcard. I assume they should be zipped. The main theme I'm trying is darkdream. I have a evo and i'm using frost Rom which has fresh as a base.
Are you certain you can theme this ROM? I just performed a search for things like "theme," "deodex," and "morph" and came up with only one result that was talking about theme'ing the dialer.
Try a different ROM and then try to use a MetaMorph theme and see if you get better results.

I flashed a riptide9 theme through recovery and it works fine on this Rom. I'm using frost because it has the same radio as fresh that allows me to tether with my ps3, but it has less bloat. Can u recommend a Rom that will do both and morph? I thought since frost had fresh as a base themes that work for fresh would by default work on frost
I made this theme just because I love the stock looks of JKAY Blue Double Ginger and use that frequently on all my ROMS. Unfortunately as everyone knows JKAY has not yet released XILA2 version of his masterpiece yet and even if it comes in future it wont support the Lidroid based framework used on Hyperdroid V6 ROM

You are right. The Icons on status bar will turn blue only when its connected to google servers (Whether through Wifi or through Mobile Data). Just like the original JKAY
Oh, this is a pity...for me it is more interesting when the icons would be in a light blue if the device is not connect with google servers and it would be cool when they are in dark blue when they connected...its not a problem...so long...

It is said that for applying any new theme first we have to flash stock theme samsung then wipe cache/dalvik and flash new on top of it.
I have flashed Vertumus ICS theme 1.9 Hyperdroid 6 on my galaxy SII.If I have to change it,where can I find default stock samsung theme?
I was wondering if the progress bars also had the same blue colour....is green seen anywhere once this theme is applied?

Hyperdroid OTA has the Samsung Stock Theme for V6. But unfortunately once the Vertumus ICS is applied, even updating the Stock Theme wont help to remove all the colours of ICS from the System. I had tried it myself, ICS domination updates almost all system APK's which doesnt get removed even by applying the STOCK Samsung theme..
So if you want to apply any other theme and remove all ICS colours then you have to either do restore of an existing backup or do a full wipe and apply VR themes from OTA or my VR theme.

Even the progress bar will have the DarkBlue Colour and not green. You will not seen green anywhere on both SytemUI.APK and Framework.APK, both of these are edited from my end.
Dialer, Settings, Alarm etc will remain as Stock even after applying this theme.

Gerty, Try flashing the Samsung stock theme over ICS domination, you will see the left overs of Domination even with Stock theme Flash..
What I'm trying to say is, you cant revert to 100% stock looks if you have already flashed ICS domination unless you do a factory wipe or restore only Stock system image using CWM Manager 3.0
You wont find this issue with any of the themes provided in Hyperdroid OTA like Lucid, Matte Midnight etc or even with my themes for Hyperdroid. Issue happens only with ICS domination due to its heavy theming on Framework and System UI
Hi guys , till date I have only used theme chooser themes from which switching to other themes is easy , but Is it the same case for cwm flashable themes also ?
Will I be able to switch to other Cm9/aokp themes from Theme chooser ?
Flashable themes that are still around and being updated...theme the portions that are impossible to theme with the theme chooser.
To get back to your stock rom theme...
You must simply flash the rom again without wiping anything.
Keep in mind:
This will also remove:
A ) System apps that you've installed manually (like myself, I install Cerberus as a system app).
B ) Custom Boot audio.
C ) Your custom Kernel if you've installed one.
Anything in the /system/ directory that you changed.
This will NOT change your settings...apps (except system apps, as mentioned) or anything like that.
Themes from theme changer will still work after...
But the missing parts that theme changer themes (or the parts the theme developer left out) will still remain as the theme you flashed.

Yep.
At least if the flashable theme changed anything that the theme chooser cannot change.
Best method (always) is to select the system theme...and then the new theme.
This will clear out anything that theme chooser can theme.
BUT...to completely clear any them that was flashed, flash the rom.zip again.

For some reason when flashing between aosp and stock lockscreen the phone would not load and got stuck on the Samsung logo. Using the AOSP lockscreen is there any way to change the camera swipe to something else, or swipe up for example? Am I missing a setting or is it set in stone? Just curious... I'm loving this theme.

Sorry but no there isn't.. I've been trying to figure a way to change it from camera to mms but haven't found it yet but if I did then it would be set to that without option to change too. The option to add choices is only an option in cm9 and aokp I think and to add something like that is way beyond my pay grade . I do prefer the aosp lock version because it does give you music control on the lockscreen for almost all player except for the stock player without needing any extra settings or add ons from the apps.

Confirming that its working on v6. I'm working on a few updates for the theme and will hopefully have them uploaded tomorrow.

Yep TDJ so great he updated again V7 ill test it and check to see if its working
AOSP and Color series themes are still working on V7..... right now I'm using the White theme the rom is working just fine.

OK i tried STOCK LOCKSCREEN VERSION STOCK BATTERY and its been working good
Updated the versions for evo3 v3-7
Themed the stock browser
Progress bars
Made the notification backgrounds in the pull down transparent (Thanks dillym34 and evil1art helping figure this out)
Maybe a few more things I'm forgetting.
Just tried to install the Darkside Evolution3 V3-V7 theme three times and it's conflicting with the UI, also it removes the notification bar

Ok I just restored a backup of a freshly installed evo v7 and downloading all 3 version of the aosp lockscreen from the links in the op and flashed each one. They all worked without issues so I'm not sure what the problem could have been, maybe a bad download? Also make sure you're on evo v3 through v7 for the version under Darkside Evolution3 V3-V7 to work they will not work properly with other roms. Were you coming from a different theme?

applied to Infamousv2.3, did TDJ cache wipe immediately after flashing theme.
same result as above
..."Android is upgrading..." note, followed by "Unfortunately, System UI has stopped" note and absent status bar
...held power >> reboot >> successfully reboots without upgrading android, however System UI still stops

oh yah, applied "STOCK BAT 1% MOD" from STOCK LOCKSCREEN VERSIONS" under "FOR DARKSIDE EVOLUTION3 V1-V2 AND OTHER UVLE1 BASED ROMS"
So I was wondering how do you change themes. I checked the themes section and a lot of them said I need a theme chooser but I dunno what that is. I am using android me cm10. Links n instructions would be awesome
If your rom has theme chooser, you will see a "Themes" menu in the phone settings.
Download a theme apk, go to the themes menu, select what you want and press "apply". Reboot after changing themes.

what are some roms that have theme chooser, is it possible to flash it into my current rom? i dont want to reflash another rom and set up eeverything again
