How to remove the dashboard
When did it happen? Was it after you installed something?

Did you ever get that fixed? Is that there all the time?
I would guess it may be something enabled from the developer's settings. I cant remember but there's another app that has dev settings as well that may be installed on your device.

Has anyone tried installing and using Chameleon Launcher in Note? Does it work?
looks so nice with loads of features

No I can't download it on my note 1 (chameleon is a tablet only launcher and the note is recognized as a smartphone).
Edit: however, with a custom rom (aosp), you can put the note in tablet mode or even hybrid mode (ParanoidAndroid) and install it.

Does anyone have experience using the Smart Volume Control+ with the Galaxy Note II? Does it function correctly?
I am interested in getting the app when I get my Note because I am tired of having to go into phone settings to manual change the volume.
Use the app called quick settings they updated it to work with jb works great

Thanks for the help. But I've used "Quick settings" before on another phone and I wasn't impressed by it. SVC+ works well with my current phone and I'd like to keep using it.
Hell everyone,
My first time here. Just bought a Galaxy Note 8.0 and my friend who owns a Note 2 says her phone has a cool S Pen Keeper function.
I couldn't find the "Keeper" setting in my S Pen settings although both my Note 8 and her Note 2 show Android 4.1.2.

In 4.2.2, its on all the time. You can choose to switch it off when the pen is docked.

My Note 8 came with 4.2.2, I have no options for s-pen keeper when it's docked or not. Is it supposed to be on all the time?

Mine Note 8.0 doesn't have s-pen keeper feature either.
Nevertheless there is an app for this. Simply search for "spenkeeper" on the Play Market.

Thanks for letting us know there is an app. I got it and it seems to work fine. The screen does have to be off before it detects the motion, that's actually a positive, it would be annoying to set off the alarm if you were working and moved the tablet.

My Note 8 that came with 4.2.2 doesn't have S Pen Keeper as far as I can tell. Try intalling the app from the Play Store, it works.

as I understand the Keeper app, app notices pen is out.
when screen times out and pen still out you get notified.
you need a non-zero delay time. that says "your pen is out and idle for { delay time } " and screen timeout
then you get the alarm

I tried downloading words with friends and it says my device is not compatible, but my friend has the same phone and he has it. I am rooted with Jedi X7 and he is not. I'm also on tmo while he is on ATT.
i suppose i can upgrade my phone, but I really have no need to. Just curious if this is a known issue and if there is a fix or if Im going to be forced to upgrade my ROM

prob a leftover setting issue from the dpi. if you don't want to wipe or reflash try downloading the app from the amazon app store- it generally doesn't have any compatibility restrictions like the google app store.
I second the dpi suggestions.
Hastily spouted for your befuddlement
I am having an issue where if I go to the Samsung store I cannot click on any of the themes and install them. Is anyone else having this issue? There is an app called hex which allows you to customize Samsung themes and it doesn't work and I believe this is the reason why.
No issue. All purchased themes from galaxy playstore can be easily installed.
I cannot click on any of these themes or wallpapers. It does nothing

looks like we're just going to have to wait til Hex_ update their app.
My themes work.
Hex is definitely Fd on the fold3. Hopefully they update it.
i hope they get Hex_ fixed! for now, i'm using Samsung's Theme Park App to get me close to what i had in #Hex_.
Thanks for the info. I'm not finding Samsung Theme Park in the playstore. Where did you find it?
NVM found it in the Samsung store
Reading this thread, permit ask a question regarding a possible related issue.
I have tried to install various Live Wallpapers from the Playstore. On the Fold 3, after reboot, I loose the Live Wallpapers, and I have to re-enable it every reboot. On the Fold 2, it survived reboot.
I am wondering if Galaxy themes is causing it. Can I idsable Galaxy Themes? In Settings ==> Apps the Disable button is grayed out. Is there a way to disable Galaxy themes?
Thank you!

With my live wallpaper app i put it under never sleep mode in battery advanced settings and it worked well
The theme reverts back to the stock theme after 10 minutes. Gah. Hopefully they fix it soon. Can't stand OneUI's default theme and statusbar.
