The 3.4 version is (for JB 4.2.2).
Also, if you did a little search, you'd see that like half of the people using his kernel are on Task's AOKP.

My girl wants me to root her s3 and I was just wondering what is the most stable jelly bean ROM available. I have an s2 and run All-Star 11/28. All suggestions welcome.

You're going to get a lot of different responses.
My favorite? FreeGS3, but I won't stop trying others, I just prefer it overall.
There's none. All ROMS are great. It all depends on personal preferences.

Honestly all ROMs available are pretty solid especially if they are touchwiz. Aosp(ish) roms are also pretty solid as well. Not mention its really easy to root and flash ROMs so try em all

Flashed the latest cm10 nightly this morning

Try them out and find out
I have found paranoid kang droid to be very stable and has great customizations. I have used the latest touchwiz ota, wicked, cm10, and pa; and have settled on pk as my daily.
What is pk?

All ROMs are the best for those that use them
No one uses their phone like you or your GF
Try each for a couple of days and decide what is best for you or her

So I've been really looking into lean kernels, cause let's face it, smartphones don't have very good batter life. So my question is, do you lose performance using a lean kernel?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using xda app-developers app
It all depends on settings and device. I have never lost performance when using a kernel. Although I do prefer KT747 over Lean because it has a lot more options.

Since the Underwear kernel is based off of 4.2.1 AOSP, and I'm guessing you're talking about LiquidSmooth Beta 2, it should work since it's an AOSP rom. I don't use it personally, but it may be good. Try it and see.
Been using this awesome rom for a long time, just curious why very little over clocking?
Sent from my SGH-I747 using xda premium
Because that's what Task chose. If you want more OC install a new kernel.
Sent from my SGH-I747 using xda premium
Right but is there a kernel that will work with this rom? Without messing something up?

All you have to do is check the original android development. There are a few kernels.

Perseus is definitely the kernel for you if you like all its features. I do not believe there is an AOSP kernel that has all the features but the SOAPkernel which is found here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2186037 is a decent kernel for the AOSP roms. It is an OC kernel and made by the same developer that made all the JEDI roms and Saber kernel.
Hope it helps, but I would stick with the TW roms, Battery life is better too.

Had all those other Rom's on my skyrocket. I just like my stuff to work when I'm ready to use it. Bluetooth, mhl, etc! So I get no problems with TW!

I co-sign this. Battery life using Beanstalk plus Devil kernel compares to no other ROM I've personally used. Easily 24hrs with 6-7 hrs screen time. Using Viper for sound and it sounds amazing.
Thanks guys......I'll start checking out the kernels Where do you get viper sound?
I'm actually running illusion ROM right now. I'm trying to like the aosp ROMs but the h+ icons bother me, not having audio tweaks in my kernel bothers me, I like the Samsung keyboard and I can deal with not having multi window because I have halo.
I hope they make a hybrid ROM that combines tw with aosp and actually keep up on it and update it

Maybe ill just look around more.

read this thread, and your sound problems will be solved, no matter what rom you are running..

I actually just installed it.....wow.....I'm amazed at how much louder it can get......now if I could get the Sammy keyboard I'd be set......I have 6 or 7 aosp ROMs saved on my SD card that I never use because of the keyboard and sound. Thanks for the help
