Navigon not working on ICS.

There is no FC for me. Try clearing data and / or reinstall.

if you don't must using only navigon you can install waze that wark very fine on ics(i tested it)

Mmmm, if you have a legal install of Navigon, Android should be prompting you to upgrade to 4.1.1 (which works just fine on ICS)

I've had the same problem here on my SGS2 (I own an unbranded German SGS2 and used intratech's Frankenstein LP3 O2 UK ICS). Based on my experience there are two issues causing Navigon not to work:
1) You've flashed a custom ROM and forgot to wipe you user/cache/dalvik cache partitions several times before and after flashing the ROM. This is something really important to do.
2) What I was really shocked about: Network location service must be running. Until V 2.3.6 there was no problem when this service was freezed (through Titanium Backup or so...). As long as you did not switch the service to "On" under location settings no problem... BUT NOW... Using the GPS requires the service to be switched to "On", too... A real data privacy/data protection problem, if somebody's asking me...

[HELP]Tether not working.

Hi guys, this is my first topic..
To the point, my tether is not working, its says (the pc) limited or no connectivity, im running Repencis v3, with a2sd cachesd.
And Windows XP operating system..
Sorry if i make any mistakes..

search one tethering app from play store and use that for tethering
Check whether its working or not

Tethering is required password sett on ur device by opening
Setting/wireless and connectivity/portable hotspot tethering/setting hotspot portable
Change the passwords
If ur pc still don't get connected try troubleshoot ur wireless it will be fixed automatically

He is having problem with the usb tether not wifi tether, so there is no need of any password conf.

Do you have any app lock... Check if you have locked usb connection
Or you should reinstall the usb driver

download it from play store..
it works on ADB .. !! so it will definitely work .. .

but you have range, and get whatsapp messages by 3G, or is that an old notification?
in the rom it worked, is there any app called stk.apk wich is something like a service app?
maybe your provider has settings in that rom wich the custom roms dont have

Oh and stk is only for sim toolkit .. and the only one stk stable is the one from squadzone but you can unistall it.. and have ril full working ..so stk is not the problem

I've been googling around, looking fir some information about netd.
What is netd ?
It takes high cpu usage sometime, and make my phone laggy as hell..
Anyone with same problem?
Any solution would be appreciated

it`s absolutely vital to the phone, is one of the main cores of the android system.. i cant recall exactly what is doing tho, but i remember that you cant disable, or anything like that.. from what i have read other ppls using different roms seem to have the same problem with netd eating up the cpu, and some of them said that it was somewhat related to some specific governors...so try to switch from whatever governor you are now to a different one and see if it helps

the thing is, that the lib isnt needed for gio/ace/mini/fit ...
Maybe the try to load it makes more ram consumption, but it can be easy disabled in source

How to disable it ? Because my gio was very smooth, and suddenly laggy after its appear with high cpu usage.
And what is the bad effect if we disable it ?

its just disabling the searching for it!
so the corresponding class wont search anymore for libnetdinterface.so

Not using smartassv2 helps in most cases

It has something to do with the wifi interface. I had netd-hangs everytime I had wifi & 3G on while no known wifi network was around me. Since I'm disabling wifi when I leave home, I didn't had any hangs anymore. Changing governor doesn't help, tested by myself.

Updated my baseband from XXKT7 to XXTKA to see if this would improve this odd behavior

My phone won't register USB connection

So I have this problem where I plug my USB to my Lg Optimus ME and my PC and it only recharges and I can't put files on my phone or even find the it in the devices menu.
So far I'm using skydrive to move files but it is so slow, so if anyone knows how I can fix it please help me

If you have a wifi network, try Airdroid that is more fast than internet downloading/uploading
