thanks but I've tried more times,I also re-flashed Firmware, now i'm using rom XZX 2,but led light and illumination dont work together :crying:
I think there are settings in the illumination bar app, that say "Control the LED of the phone" or something. Look up if, if it's check or not. if it is, uncheck it!
And, are you on stock ROM or Custom?

I don't have the Xperia zl right now but am planning to get one if it gets released in Germany but maybe some of the owners can help me out with my question.
I saw that the Xperia z and zl have toggles in the status bar. Can they be deactivated in settings? If not, Is it possible to edit the systemUI.apk or maybe another file in the system to remove them?

They cant be took away by a simple setting, But May be able to be removed via messing with the SystemUI. Not sure why you would not want them though.

I want them removed because I don't like their style and rather use widgetsoid for status bar toggles, but having both looks ugly so I would like to remove the stock status bar toggles.
Maybe someone can give me a tip which file to mess with to remove them.
AW: Deactivating status bar toggles
Can you add/delete some of the toggles? Which are available?

Nope
Modifying SystemUI to remove toggles shouldn't be too hard

Another question I got while reading through the XZ forum: As both, XZ and XZL, are the same regarding OS and hardware it should be possible to use Mods on the ZL designed for the Z? I think custom roms is another field as there should be differences with for example the baseband but mods should work or am I completely wrong?
Any update on this? Could someone make a guide on how to remove the toggles?
Now that we're at modifying the SystemUI I have another question related to this topic. Is it enough to rename an icon (for example the one used for stamina mode) to remove it from being shown in the notification bar? As I read through some topics and looked at screenshots there are some icons I would like to remove from displaying when I get my Xperia ZL.
As the Xpeia ZL has an odexed ROM I guess I have to first deodex it, there is an guide of tickle my android I guess that describes how it is done, I guess it can be applied to the XZL?
Thanks in advance for answering.
Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
You might want to check the Xperia Z thread as they have been doing this and that phone has had a good head start in terms of XDA dev. Since they are quite similar, the mod might work for the ZL as well.
I read through the Xperia Z forum but didn't find a mod that could remove the toggles, did you found one?
Ok, I found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=38723261 mod in the Xperia z forum but the link isn't working. Maybe if we all ask the guy to put another working link he'll put it up because so far he hasn't reuploaded the link for the 3 people who've asked him to.

Any luck getting this done?

It should be as simple as finding/replacing the smali code to match the mods for Z. I'd have to take a look at it, but if the Z/ZL are indeed the same then all the mods should work.

I mean, if the on screen button is activated, the indicator page will be too close to the icon in the dock bar, and doesn't look good, try looking at the screenshot I attached previously, which is circled in orange

It is designed to work on not modified original Sony UI, not some strange mods. There is nothing you can do here, it is not Sony's fault.
You could always restore the gorgeous Sony stock bar from your backup, or reflash the Stock ROM.
Write me a pm, I'll send you a fix.

Don't bother about them. I don't get why people register on xda, a site made for mods, only to tell people to go back to stock and that things can't be fixed. This is xda. There is a fix for everything and if there isn't, someone's simply gonna make a fix.
Or why they bother to reply if they have nothing helpful to say.
Anyway, I sent you my fix, it works for me, Please let me know if it works for you too

Try clearing appdata of the walkman app. Then restart your phone
Press thanks if I helped
If someone could give me their framework-res.apk and Walkman apk (I believe it's called SemcMusic.apk or WALKMAN 7.9.A.0.1.apk)
I might be able to fix it.

I want that when I get a notification on my Xperia S flash the notification led and the illumination bar at the same time. Can I do this somehow or with an app?
At the same time, it can be quite tricky, as each notification can blink at different speeds.
However, you can use Gravity Box feature to make it blink. You can enable it at Display Tweaks, and tick Button Backlight notifications
