There is currently no Android 4.x rom with no bugs.
Nothing more to say. But there is a big working on Kernel 3 so i'm sure there will be stable (clean) Android 4 Roms in future

This. Anyone suggesting otherwise is wrong and stupid.
Sorry that I'm chiming in so harshly, but this man doesn't even own a Desire yet. Therefore, any suggestion that might lead him to buy one, because he believes that there are bug-free 4.x ROMs for Desire, are to be avoided. Wouldn't want him to spend money on a Desire and then find himself disillusioned, would we?

i want to run android directly on my diamond as i think it may be a better one than windows ,but is there anyone working with it ?I want to know if there will be a real android rom which not run via windows for us one day .And I wonder that the xdandroid team has stopped do anything for diamond as it is a too old one !

The xdandroid team hasn't stopped,they are still developing updates
And vatoloco,with other developers are working to get nand flashing working
vatoloco has made android ROM for xperia available for testing

When I use android it lasts about half the normal time!

Yes, you're in the wrong place. When you say "don't seems to work" do you mean that there are problems in the ROM (usually stated in the first post of the ROM) or you can't get any to flash (read a tutorial)?
You have to give more information. What doesnt work?
You tried sabsa, existz's Aospx is highly recommended. LC's IceColdcream are all great rims.

First of all it's wrong thread, secondly be clear with what problem you are facing.
In simple (if you are new to custom roms or DHD), you need
1- HTC Desire HD
2- Eng S-Off
3- Radio S-Off
4- Custom recovery
5- Custom ROM
For 2 and 3 search in "DHD Android Development" for how to root or something like that, there is tons of information available or simply google it.
Talking about custom roms everyone here has his/her own choice. What is yours
1- AOSP
2- Sense
After getting through all these procedure you might have a working ICS rom.

its already s-off bro and rooted aswell, I figure when a rom is under 300mb it doesn't past boot logo, I just tried one that was over 300mb and it work wella but it wasn't ics and ics is wat I want ama try and search again

Look in the Desire HD Development forums. The recent popular ones are all crowded around the top.
Blackout update
The blackout update will be well worth the wait once released,i am using the test version,and i am really impressed with the overall improvements once completed it will be a very good candidate for a stable daily driver.:good:

Hey, if you mean the ROM from jorfaz then it won't boot (for nobody). It's a known issiue.
I'm sure he's trying to get it booting
Try this one it boots but touch drivers arent working that good (you have ring instead of your hand which gives the touch commands).
Hazou made it so all credits go to him

Yes that's not only your problem you just have to wait until the developer releases a fix/update for this ROM
The ROM in the link works but i wouldn't recommend it to you to try this ROM because almost nothing is working (but atleast it works see this)

We'll see which bugs are remeaning. The first ICS ROM was released one year ago and there are stil bugs. I hope we get Jelly bean as soon as possible

There is a a VERY LITTLE chance that we will have Lollipop on our devices, considering Kitkat takes quite a toll on our devices.

I have a wildfire s and it can't even have KitKat only customs to jelly bean 4.2.2...
So its highly unlikely.
If it will work plz tell me

you have to update your cwm recovery to flash cm11(kitkat)
