I accidently installed an international modem on my verizon Note 2. How can I get the stock modem back? I am relatively new to this thing and made a rookie mistake. Any assistance woud be much appreciated. thank you.
I would start by finding the Verizon Note2 section.
(Not being snarky, because there you'll be able to find the file you need.)
Cant link ya, on my phone.
Sent from my calculator watch.

Okay, so, I have an nTelos SGH-r760, which is their version of the epic 4g touch. I rooted it using the USCC rooting method, because it's the exact same phone, just with different firmware on it. However, the recovery mode I have apparently breaks every backup I make (md5 mismatch for every single one), so I can not restore my backup of the stock rom. I want to do this because every rom I flash breaks my mms (which I can live without), and my data(which I can NOT live without). So my question is this: does ANYBODY have a backup of the stock nTelos rom that I can have? I am in desperate need here. Any help is GREATLY appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I can't post links in my reply because I newly registered. If you google just the word ntelos, the first search result seems to have a link to the ROMS on rootzwiki dot com. Good luck

I did this and couldn't find any ntelos roms at all.
Ok, so I wasn't paying attention to what I downloaded and ended up trying to flash an AT&T Galaxy S2 ROM on my T989. I ended up with a total brick and the only way it can be read is via QPST, the Qualcomm tool.
Now, from what I can tell - and I've not messed with this before - I need to flash back a restore image in order to get the phone back. But I haven't been able to find one anywhere. I might be very naive (and probably am...) but it would seem to me that if someone downloaded the QPST tool and did a backup then I could use those files.
Again, if anyone has any experience with this it would be much appreciated. Clearly the phone is salvageable, but just not without a lot of work

I believe that is a stock s2 rom
Would flashing a Verizon samsung s3 with a Boost Samsung s3's firmware mimic as if it were on a a Boost network?? At least in theory.
has anyone been able to get this rom? I will pay $25 for the rom. or a way to debrand sprint from the phone including the startup animation and name at the bottom of the screen when you swipe it. My phone is working 100% but I can not return it to the store with the phone showing sprint.
ANY help would me awesome.
Did you make a nandroid backup after you rooted your phone, before you flashed anything else? If so, you can boot into recovery and restore it. If not..idk.
If you get really desperate, maybe you can change your boot animation. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1897969 I haven't done it myself, but I will definitely be doing it later!
Don't know what you can do about your lock screen.
Titanium backup will let you delete any sprint zone/sprint id apps...and triangle away will reset your flash count to 0 if you need it.
Hope this was at least mildly helpful.
somone got it working? http://androidforums.com/boost-mobile-galaxy-s3-all-things-root/742012-back-stock-4-1-2-a.html
its not really the stock rom but if anyone has found one please let me know...
why does the boost mobile s3 not have a section on here? and how do we change that?
Ok folks, here's my request. I'm so close to getting a zip ROM for the Boost variant, but I need a few things. Could someone contact me either on here or in PM and provide a copy of the Boost boot animation files and the build prop from a Boost S3, not one from another carrier that's been flashed to Boost. I got a zip to boot today, but it bootlooped. Not because of these files, but if I'm going to do this, I'm going to do it right, and the backup I'm using to make the zip is Boost, but the build.prop says d2vmu, and I want to make sure I'm using the right one. Thanks in advance everyone. Let me know!
Here is my build.prop from Boost GS3 d2vmu

Hi guys noob here needing some help with my trusty old note 2.
firstly I do apologise if I hAve posted in the wrong section, Im not 100% up to speed with modified phones but I want to use lollipop on my note 2 as I use this phone day in day out and 4.4.2 is just getting slow for me now plus I need a change.
sorry if I'm going on to much here so straight to the point.
is there any kind of DETAILED tutorial out there that will be easy enough for me to follow,
I have rooted my note 2 already and I managed that fine as it was pretty simple to follow and illustrated but I haven't a clue about titanium back up clock mod saving my apps bricking my phone and so on, any help coming my way is much appreciated.
Many thanks for all your time and in looking forward to getting some Coold replys from you clever people.

do full backup via titanium backup (menu button->batch actions...->mark everything or what you need)
make EFS backup via recovery/aroma/app
download lollipop rom
do full wipe, flash rom
if you have imei null then flash modem
just keep to the instructions provided by rom's dev and you will have new device in 10min
