lol, why don't you use the C6502's rom for itself?

[q] no network signal

Hi, i wonder why my note 2 doesnt have network signal, from time to time i have to reboot my phone just to have signal again is there any way i can fix this without rebooting my phone all the time. And wiping all my data cause it doesnt work i tried it already.
I have the same problem and i use Network Signal Speed Booster which works great. A permanent fix would be better though.

do you have to start it up every time you lose signal or you never lost signal at all?
Could be SIM related. Try another SIM
[UPDATE]
so apparently i only lose signal when the phone goes into a long sleep meaning when i sleep, then when i wake up the phone service is gone and i have to reboot again to get service
Fixed mine

Hi, I had the same problem. I started flashing other stock roms with Odin, since then, i didn't had to restart anymore when signal failed, looked like a radio issue .

[Q] Problem getting mobile data connectivity on Arc S runnig CM10

I can't access mobile data.. 2G or 3G on my phone since yesterday. Earlier, there used to be occasional signal drops, but toggling mobile data, airplane mode, or rebooting would resume the connection. My APN and account balance etc are OK. Now, voice call and wifi work ok, but elsewise, the signal bars stay greyed out, and 3G, G, H or E indicators never show - it's as if it isn't even attempting to connect to data. :crying: I also had a problem with the toggles on the notification screen not updating... i.e. showing on even though i's turned off as shown in settings menu. I wiped dalvik and cache today... but again, no change.
I tried my sim on another handset and got connectivity, though a very slow connection. This is a peak mobiole usage time here, so bandwidth may be clogged, but no connection altogether?
Any help on how to get back data connectivity would be really appreciated.
Can you please tell me if there is any way to pinpoint if this is a network deficiency or a hardware or software issue? Can the radio malfunction for only mobile data leaving voice and WiFi intact?
I'm running:
Anzu,
CM10 FXP 235
BB64
Lupus for JB v12
Why are you using BB64? For CM10 you should be using BB77 or above.

For ICS, use BB77 and above, anything below will not work.
For JB, use BB85, although BB77 should work fine with it.

Actually, I got back data connectivity once before I could flash BB85.. so most probably network was a factor.
Anyway... I managed to flash BB85, and connection is quite nice, except for the persistent issue of occasional mobile data drops -(toggles not updating) . Thanks!
By toggles not updating, what I mean is If I connect the phone to 2G - and leave it, sometimes the phone will show no data connection and greyed out signal bars, even though data quick toggle is on. If I turn it off, it will not grey out. If I turn on wifi, though, the data toggle finally turns off.. and turning it on after that reconnects 2G. Any idea what causes this?

[Q] Network Issue On S4

Hello all,
I am not sure if this is because of the 4.3 update. My phone seems to lose connection fast as soon as I restart the device. Here is what exactly happens.
I reboot the device,
I see 4G Lte and 2-3 bars show up, but soon after, I lose connection completely and there is a stop sign for my bars.
What is going on here.
Wifi connection is fine, but when I connect to wifi I see grey for the bars in the notification.
I'm having the same issue in Nashville. Just updated, and constantly losing service, from lte to 4g

Have you flashed Ktoonz kernel yet?
It should fix the issue you are having.
If not, odin flash the MK2 modem.bin image.
Good luck, happy thanksgiving!
Figured it out. It was just wifi calling should be set to wifi if available.
Mine gets stuck in lte, and finally just times out on the webz, says no data connection.

Yes same happened to me until I flashed 4.3 with odin. I couldn't even put wifi on. But now it works.

Losing Data Connection on Idle

Hi all,
Im on Viper Rom 6.2.1 Rom, Elite Lunar Kernel, and latest OTA radio.
My 4G connection is great when connected, I hit the 40s and 50s download speed.
The problem im having is that when the data connection is idle for like 30 seconds, all of a sudden I lose data connection. the 4G LTE logo is still showing but the download/upload activity arrows no longer flashes. It goes back when I turn mobile data off then on again. Then I lose connection again when idle.
What could be the problem?
Thanks

I just had a similar problem recently like this. Turns out i burned out my 4g sim card. Before changing roms or firmware i would suggest going into a VZW store and get a new one. They are free, they dont even look at the phone. Just tell them LTE connectivity isn't working correctly and that the sim card is bad. they will give you another one.

Thanks. I figure it was probably the sim card. I will try that.
I am having a similar situation. I have data loss after having hotspot on for a little while and any type of reboot is the only remedy (restart of shell, full reboot, adb reboot, etc). I already swapped Sims at the Verizon store, tried different roms, tried flashing different firmware and radio combinations. Any suggestions?

I too am having similar issues, though it appears more random than associated with using hotspot.
Every few hours, all radio connectivity but Wifi shuts off. I get the no service icon in the status bar. Only a reboot fixes the issue.
Running teamEcliptic Rom 4.4.3 v1.4, kernel: EliteLunar 3.4.10, baseband: 1.13.41.0421, build: 6.06.401.1.
Soff, unlocked, root, etc.
When I have time to spare plan to restore a stock rom (keeping S-off though) to see if that fixes the issue.
Any advice from those more versed in the One M7 would be appreciated!

[Q] Reception is weird whenever I flash a ROM

Whenever I flash a ROM to my phone it won't get any LTE signal, or any internet signal for that matter. I flashed CM11 and now Paranoid Android but the same thing happens. I can send/receive messages and calls without a problem.
Wi-Fi works fine also
So it's just data that's messed up. Did you check your apn settings are right?
