I recently installed the Android SDK on my pc. Would anyone be willing to provide an in service for its use? Lol I'm also curious about terminal emulation with Rom Toolbox etc.
Thanks

Hi I'm trying to automate with Tasker. I want to execute some shell commands for the freeze and unfreeze task in Titanium Backup Pro. Does anyone know the shell commands to do this in the terminal? It would be particular to TB Pro and I've been looking on the web with no success. This community seems to always have the answers to everything so thank you in advance.

Yeah I came across that site and didn't find what I needed, most command line stuff was permission related. Sorry about the misuse of the forum.

Remember the Jelly Bean leak that you could use without a rooted device? Well, when the official Jelly Bean is released, will we be able to use the official version the same way as the leak, through an external SD card? I don't have a rooted device, and don't plan on rooting, so this is my only way to update my phone. Kies won't work on my phone for some reason, and I'm one of the lucky people who has the broken OTA. Thanks guys, I'm new and noobish to Android.

First re rrad rules and secondly on mdl update without a setuidremoved kernel it wont root ever, DoD wants s4 as government phone and asked for root permission removed at kernel level..
Just a hint that maybe you need to study a little more before assuming everything is same as other devices...

You have to return to stock before the update for the root to work. I had the same problem

I know samsung had to write their own bluetooth stack for it, but has anyone had any luck syncing their flex or ones on a custom rom? If so, which ones? Thanks
