Why has the Xperia Arc more Rom's?

Hi Guys,
I have seen that the Xperia Arc has more custom roms as the Xperia Play as BlendMIUI (not beta) and CM9.0
Is there such a big difference between play and Xperia Arc?

I was UB my device and Download Music Info not working in stock
I test XZXperience on Xperia Ion,it works.But the XZX not stable and I return Stock.
How can i fix this in stock rom:

[Q] porting xperia z walkman

Hi Great minds,
i am using rooted xperia arc build # 4.1.B.0.431. i tried installing the walkman port
of xperia z from the thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2206125.
followed all steps mentioned in the thread, but after installation, walkman and its related
apps are getting force close.
please help me to get walkman installed on the arc..
