If anything it'd be an init.d script with the kernel.

Built this CWM flashable zip for you guys to try out if you want:
WiFiPatch-signed.zip
I did try it on my ROM but it still locks up while starting the hotspot unfortunately...

Could you give my zip a test on LiquidSmooth to see if it works for you? Just wondering if I did this right to start with.
Thanks!
I never used a zip. I just used the script. If anyone wants to you could try to run it as a init.d script. That is if there's a kernel that supports it.

That zip will install a script into the etc/init.d directory which will run at startup as you mention if the kernel supports it.
What kernel are you using with LiquidSmooth, LiteKernel or TheCovenant / Dman?
I switched to cm like 10 minutes ago and now I'm sidetracked and can't flash a different kernel or any other zips.

Hold volume down button while powering up should get you back into recovery. You should be able to mount the flash via usb to load a new file on there if you didn't make a back-up...

Working on Why Not 1.0
I can confirm that this is working on my t0ltespr on Why Not 1.0
I had to upgrade my recovery to the new TWRP 2.3.2.3. It wouldn't flash the new recovery through Goo Manager, so I downloaded it manually from here:

Flashed the new recovery and then the MultiWindowTheme.zip
Just saw this thread over on the Sprint GS3 forums for a working native sprint hotspot mod...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2224083
I installed on my wifes GS3 and it works flawlessly (more stable than Treve). I looked but couldn't find anything similar for the N2.
Would anyone be able to port this mod over for our N2s? Or if this is already available for the N2, can someone point me where to get it?
Thanks in advance for anyone who can help.

I have a modifed version of NoWizAospMod.
I downloaded one of the Zips from the S3 and found the place the mod was needed.
I found the same place in our file..made the mod and it worked.
I will attach the services.jar file. This is where the change is.
Put in in your system/framework directory set permissions and reboot.
I will writeup a howto for the Note II this weekend.
Cool, would it be safe if I flash this file with the Macksrom Allstar 3.5 or should I just wait until you give the write up?

I tried this and it comes up that it cannot find a network as I can only connect to HSPA AWS on Wind in Canada, I am guessing there is no other fix right now?
Im with wind mobile as well as after flashing the rom and modem I get the same signal as always. Now heres my prob, I flashed the rom then the moden, rebooted and everything was fine. I then installed the devil kernel and the update and now Im getting force closes. Rebooted and wiped all and still the same thing.
