I've lost my pre installed S Note Templates. Might happen during flashing custom ROM.
Attached sample I found in Google.
Can anyone please help me to restore it.

Stumbled across this thread i was searching for recovering default S Note Templates.
Simply just:
Settings - Back up and reset - Factory date set.
Just FYI in case anyone encounters the same problem.

Story goes thusly - immediately after rooting, I made a nandroid backup. The next day I was preparing to start flashing ROMs for the first time, so I nandroided again. Later (after trying 3 or 4 ROMs looking for a favorite, I noticed I had about 2.5gb missing from the empty space on my phone. This DiskUsage screen shows what happened - I have 2 nandroid backups. I thought Android backups over wrote each other! Anyways, I only want one of them - would I break something using root explorer to delete one? If so, is there a safer way to delete the older nandroid backup?
Thanks for your time!

I am a flash-a-holic and Edythe I flash a new ROM I have to start all over with the words that I have added. I use my backup pro and it says it backs up my dictionary but when I restore I have to reprogram my words again.
Is there anyway to restore the dictionary of your own custom words after flashing new ROMs?

Not sure about that app. You can try titanium backup free. I use pro and it keeps my dictionary
sent from my BAD A$$ Epic touch
you should try the latest version, it allows you to back up and sync your dictionary across multiple devices

Or if you want, pull the file, file is located at /data/data/com.swype.android.inputmethod/swypedata/udb/UserData.udb.
Just push to location and set proper permissions.

Hi.
I got a gt-n7100 from my carrier (drei.at) however it does not seem to provide updates.
I'd like to flash another firmware but still be able to go back to the firmware that is currently on it - unmodified, unrooted for warranty purposes.
The firmware is not available anywhere and I could not find out how to create a copy of it.
Can you help me?
Take a screen shot of about phone im sure its on samfirmware

It is not!

And here a screenshot of the detailed firmware thats actually installed:
My carrier drei in austria is not listed anywhere I looked when it comes to firmware and the installed firmware does not appear to support upgrades.
Can you help me find the firmware?
Alternatively, can you help me create it myself based on what's installed on my phone? I've read instructions on that for other samsung phones, but not for the note II.
I had to get a different OP3 after breaking the screen on my old one and when I flashed my NANDroid backup, the fingerprint sensor doesn't work. Shows the message from the title on the lock screen. I'm assuming some file needs to be replaced for it to work. Anyone have any idea what is needed? Pic attached of message.

Factory reset. Let's see if that helps... :/
Check the rooting guide thread - OP has covered creating nandroid backups and restoring them. Looks like there is a known issue with fingerprint scanners after restoring backups, but it's fixable.
At least I hope it's the same problem here ...

I just did a factory reset. Most of my stuff is backed up on Google/the cloud in general so its not too terrible.
