[Q] Fastboot stuck on "sending recovery.img" - HTC One X

I'm trying to put ClockWork Mod on my HTC One X but in CMD it says "sending recovery.img" and it's been stuck there for over 30minutes. There's an empty progress bar on the top right of the phone. Any ideas?

Using the original HTC usb cable, using a 2.0 usb port ?

Yep, using the original HTC cable and a USB 2.0 port.

What about that empty progress bar.....when you flash a recovery the phone must be in the bootloader and you must see "fastboot usb" in red text. There is no progress bar at the bootloader when flashing.....

yeah there shouldn't be any bar in the top right... that appears only when the bootloader itself is flashing something

Thanks guys for the help, I've fixed it somehow. :what:

The drivers are not properly installed. That's why it's stuck.

If recovery says fastbootusb that means its detected already. It won't show up as a device on your PC, and only accessible through adb commands.
boot.img is usually provided in the the thread, or you can choose your kernel of choice. Install then boot.img through recovery while in fastbootusb mode, then enter Recovery and flash the modules that you downloaded with the boot.img
Just follow the guides on here, it's been covered before

I had trouble with recognizing phone too. But it works if you use the original cable that came with the phone. Try that!

The fact that fastboot is working, it means that your drivers and cable is working.

Fastboot seem not work, I'm unlock device and install ARHD 9.70 and Kernel from faux 10m (before fuax I'm move from ncx kernel)
In bootloader they only charge and when I try to fastboot erase cache it just waiting for device.
In recovery, when I mount sd it doesn't show the storage too.
When in the android os, plug it and it doesn't ask for storage or charging but the charging light it show.
I think the problem it not in the computer because I try to plug 2 different computer and show only the light.
Thank you.

Anybody can help.
Do you have the latest clockworkmod recovery? Should be 5.8.4.0. Worth reinstalling it, anyway.
Yes, I used this version. Any new suggestion.

erm, try to do the following:
1. Start(the windows start button) + r
2. Enter cmd and press ok
3. Type "adb devices"
Does it return any result?
I will try when I get to home but thank you for supported.

Sorry, I just back from aboard and when I got home I try to flash recovery again
and stuck on "still waiting for device".
Also when I try to adb devices there are only shown "List of devices attached".
Do this is hardware fault? please give me an advice.
Than you in advance

HTC One V not fully booting

I was installing a font Via Font Installer, I was installed MyriadWebPro.ttf. I've installed numerous fonts before, and after installing this one, the phone doesn't fully boot. What do I mean by fully boot? It turns on, the HTC logo, virgin mobile logo, and then HTC and Beats Logo, and it stays there. The LED indicator still works when its off. I have the CMDA One V, if that helps in anyway.
Anyone know what's wrong?

Sorry I was out. Hold power for 10 seconds, your phone will shut down. Then press volume - and power until fastboot screen appears. Then you flash the kernel. But you have to be rooted

Get into fastboot then on the pc put the kernel in fastboot folder, open cmd, locate fastboot folder, type fastboot devices just to be sure it is connected, and if it gives you an answer, type fastboot flash boot name of kernel.img
