Hi all
I have been wanting to ask long ago, just wondering how come the picture shown in timesscpae are all blurred and pixelated even though you have a very sharp and crisp image or picture displayed normally on your contact page? Do we have a fix on this?

Well camera zoom is not good on arc, cause it is digital. Since it is soooo slim they haven't put optical zoom
Currently I using PA2.99. It's work great.
I wonder about Camera during opening camera , pic in screen look very clear and superb. But when u take it quality is not like what it's show on screen.
I might not understand how it's work , Hope some one can light me up ?
try an app called "camera 360 ultimate"
Hi guys,
I'm using the CM10 ROM by the FreeXperia team on my Sony Xperia S, and I'm a bit disappointed about the quality of the pictures taken with the camera. Pics taken at night with flash, in particular, are always blurry and out of focus.
What are in your opinion the best settings to take decent pictures? How exactly do you focus before taking the pic?
Hopefully this can be a useful thread to share experiences so that we can all take better pics! :fingers-crossed:
I just use common sense. More exposure at night, flash only when I want it. And for the people with a bit more knowledge in this, install a third-party app (I myself use procapture) and control your ISO. That's probably why your photos are blurry, the aosp camera doesn't deal well with iso.
That's basically how I do pictures...
My cam settings are Canon 350D
no seriously this phone can't shoot so it's not worth to worry about settings

And what phones would be able to shoot?

What focus mode do you guys use? The default is continuous, did you change it?

Within my third-party app, yes, I change it.
I only use the CM app for when I really need a quick shot (nature, family pics etc.), so the focus isn't always good, but I take like 10 pics every time so no worries
And FYI this phone is a great cameraphone. It's not a DSLR, but it does the job well enough to compete with a point-and-shoot (maybe even beat the low/midrange ones).
If you really want great pics, use stock Gingerbread. Fast and fluid, in my opinion better than the ICS and JB camera apps. Will post a screenie of my settings once I get to a PC so I can restore a backup...
I'm using Snap Camera HDR from Play Store and I'm really satisfied

Try flashing modded cybershot app via recovery ! It has superior auto function of Xperia Z and Xperia ZL.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2296375
And In case of normal mode i suggest you to use multi auto focus with suitable white balance and appropriate EV.

hi guys,
is it me, or does the camera really suck at taking pics in JB.
Coz i remember i took a pic of london eye at night from the otherside of the river when i got my xperia S and it was :good: but yesterday when i was in london again, tried doing the same, taking pic at night and it was always coming out blury no matter how stable i was, nearly ended up throwing it in the river.
So, any suggestions guys, also, do u guys think the cybershot app with hdr and superior auto really does produce good pics?
Hello, I have an LG G3 and I am looking to start using it on the field at work, I need a rom that has a camera that can take 640x480 (.3mp) pictures, 1 mp pictures or something close.
I installed the skydragon rom but the lowest I can take pictures is at 3mp and each pic is over 1MB in size.
If anyone can check their roms and try and let me know I would appreciate it, thanks.
