Can Anybody Do Such a Thing???
Cuz I Saw It On The Galaxy Note, And There's A Mod For The Galaxy S II....
So How Can We Get It For Our Gios??

and asked amazing devs from other phones
but its only for cm7.2 and higher
not stock

Hi old friends

Hi Guys. I saw there is really good development happening Here. After i dropped down my galaxy nexus i taked an galaxy s. Right now im running stock 4.0.4 with devil kernel. Overklocked to 1200 MHz. Since i builded cm9 from source (amazing not?XD) i Will help in the development here. If anyone needs help i will help them. Please help to take this topic alife! Maybe i will make my own rom (wow!) anyone needs help? Post and pm me!!

Whe also have an sense 4 port for sgs wifi and sdcard arent working. So i dont think they have lucky with it

well i don't think so but you can try to port from Nexus S to work on GB Kernel of Defy+ and should be work fine...

Nex has 720p screen meaning its xhdpi... if the rom doesn't have hdpi it won't work...

Since there is no Q&A section on Gio forum, I am posting this question here.
Does anyone know what is the codename for Gio? I do not mean the GT-S5660.

what you mean codename GT-S5660 is gio.

I mean like "cooper" is codename for Samsung Galaxy Ace and "tass" is the codename for Samsung Galaxy Mini.

I wrote the same thing :cyclops: . Maybe in other parts of world Ace is called Cooper. Codename GT-S5660 is a Gio

Doubtful...considering the technology are way dif and ahead. 13mp vs. 8mp and the hardware are completely dif. It may work w the s3 but will run into a whole lot of issue.

It is a software. It will be possible if a dev decides to take on the challenge. I thought G3 and G2 have similar cameras....Im sure it is do-able!
