[Q] LeeDriod & Handcent

Hi Folks,
tried to post this on the development ROM page for leedriod but i dont think i have done enough posts LMAO.
Just a quick question i have put the following ROM on my Desire
[ROM] LeeDrOiD HD V3.3.2-Port-R4 | 8th August| Ginger Sense 2.1 | FAST | STABLE | WWE
i upgraded from the R3 port which was running fine, maybe a little sluggish but fine all the same.
Only little problem i have now is when i open handcent or get a text message, the folloing popup comes up over and over again:
com.hancent.nextsms.skin.silver, com.handcent.nextsms now has been granted superuser access.
is there anyway i can stop this from popping up all the time, dont mind it coming up once then going away, but it keeps coming up while trying to reply to the text and mega annoying
Other than that its an awesome ROM, just on a side note, it didnt happen in R3 port..spooky huh!!
Any help would be greatly received.

I think it's due to using the LED plus option which needs root access.. I myself suffer from the same problem, don't know how to solve it though. Doesn't make life impossible though.

or u can simply disable su rights from superuser app for the handcent. Had the same problem, now evrything ok

Wouldn't that revoke your option to then choose the LED colour of your SMS notifications..? Since Handcent wouldn't have any access to the LED colour-changing option.

just try it out, if u become issues, then make all changes back

Facebook Different in ICS

the facebook app is acting weird in ICS...i am not getting cover photos etc on timelines of facebook...ive tried many ROMs...431, CM9 ...its the same on all..but i tried gingerbread 62, and facebook on that was fine..
anyone else have this problem?

+1 exactly same problem.

i tried JJ's Hybrid ROM, it seemed to work fine on that, but still not working on stock...

Same here, I use JJ's ROM and no problems so far. It runs very smoothly, some minor 1-2 seconds lags when opening dialler for 1st time since few hours of inactivity, but apart from that all is working like a charm!!

i tried JJ again, this time facebook WAS NOT working properly... i dont know what i did different this time :S

Same problem here. No link to pictures, infos, etc in profile pages.

i'm having this problem too... :/
i am now using "fast for facebook" - not beautiful, but it works for the moment until the problem with the official app is solved.

people who have this problem, do you also have google+ app installed on your phone?

Nope

with cyanogenmod my facebook is working as it should.
but not with arconium...
so i think it is rom-related.

Facebook is working fine for me on Stock 4.0.4.

not working properly here... I can see everything but after a minute on it my whole phone is unresponsive, and when I tap the notification, the list appear in the middle of the screen and not on the top.. I have ICS rooter with official version.

i flashed the stock ROM again, it was working fine at first, but after 1 or 2 days, the problem came back...

Had the same problem with it on stock but after changing to FXP CM9 now it works just fine.

Any fix yet? This is seriously annoying...
Can we flash another facebook app or something?

i have tried alot of stuff, nothing seems to fix it.

I guess we will have to wait then with the crappy ICS Facebook App...

currently using CM7.2 downloaded Facebook works fine!

Iam on arconium ics 4 , no cover photos, font is like 3x bigger and extremely slow

Facebook works fine for me when I use stock, now I switched to Arconium and it didnt work at all

[Q] Cloudaround problem on note 2

Hi guys
I have a note 2 and I've recently downloaded cloudaround only to find that it doesnt work. I end up getting some ''failure to play epipe'' error. I've tried alternatives like justplayer but its too buggy at this moment of time. Is there a way to make cloudaround work on note 2? Also are there other alternatives besides the two I've mentioned?
It would be great if someone can shed some light on this. Cheers.

If you got it from the play store contract the developer there. If it was downloaded from XDA go to the thread. That is your best bet.

[Q] Kuban Updater Keeps Crashing

Hello Everybody
I need help with a problem on the Kuban Updater. I have always had this app but never used it until i figured out what it was from watching a video on it from youtube. So the problem is every time i open up the application it just says loading and after a while it just crashes the application. It does show a taskbar but when clicking anything this also causes the application to crash. Can anyone help me with this?
I am using the Samsung Galaxy S3 Sprint Version.
The rom i have is Wicked Sensations v5.0
The Kuban update says - Kuban Updater 2.0.0

Well i wont really go into depth as you can easily search up a video on it but in simple words, it helps you to fully customize your phone whether it be themes, extra widgets or just things to make everything easier. Also im pretty sure you can download many variations of the wicked sensations rom.

im on Wicked X 7.2 right now but im gonna look into this app and see if it works on this Wicked Rom

That app was abandoned on Wicked Sensations and changed to the My Hub app. Plus the app only works if the developer for the rom supports it's use. As all the extras are for that rom only.

When I try to share within an the the dialog box fills half the screen and then opens the app in half the screen and fails to share? Has anyone else experienced this and have any recommendations on how to fix it?

Been using Tik Tak rom for weeks now and love it. However, whenever a call is received only 1/2 of the picture shows up for the picture id. When you accept the call it changes into full screen. Any way to fix this?

Problems with speaker sound
The rom is running great and i have no hiccups
I installed the stock one cause i dont need the extras but I'm having problems with my speakers.
They are very low and sound muffled. Beats is checked in setting and i even installed viperaudio but it didnt help.
Anyone got a solution to get clear loud sound from my speakers?

If it happens across all roms, the speaker grill could have dust/dirt/lint build up in it. Using a toothbrush or something similar to lightly scrub it out would work. If that doesn't work, there is an audio mod that may help fix the muffle. I will edit and link it soon.

I'm also having the same issues with texting on verizon. This rom was running great for me for the last few months. Then just in the last 10 days or so i started having problems with texting. I've tried multiple texting apps, restarting my phone etc. Nothing has fixed it. Did an OTA update come through or something? Because something seems to have changed that jacked texting.

This has been an odd issue with many Verizon phones. Below is a link to a phone with similar internals that has the issue and a discussion of the issue. They found the problem, now to find a workaround.
