My friend lost his TWRP backup of stock ROM , and he would love to go back on stock.
Can someone provide backup of PrimoU TWRP stock ROM?
Thanks in advance

Just RUU and you are completely stock again.. we can't give you a backup because the carriers are different.

I think I got it. Big thanks guys
Got I little problem. I re-locked boot-loader, flashed stock htc recovery from RUU and downloaded RUU for Europe and started flashing, but I downloaded and tried to flash every file that I found on:
http://androidfiles.org/ruu/?dir=Primo that was marked as RUU PrimoU Europe but without success! Every time it get error 131: Customer ID Error
My CID is HTC__622.
My device is S-ON so I guess it cant be changet to Super CID.
Help is needed
I unlocked again bootloader, flashed TWPR and instaled some custom ROM that where on sdcard. Phone booted and I installed CID Getter and found this:
CID__622 , carrier: Asia-HK-CHT and product brand: htc_asia_wwe
This is strange because I'm from Serbia and also my friend is...
So basically I should download PrimoU RRU ASIA_WWE and flash that?
Just tried to flash PrimoU ASIA_WWE RUU but I get same error:131: Customer ID Error
update:
tried every file that I found on android ruu files that was marked PrimoU ASIA_WWE and same error!
R: Need TWRP beckup of PrimoU stock ROM!
Hhhmmmm I don't really know, just wait that someone that knows more gets here.. I've never done a RUU because I have my original backup

This guide will get 5.0.2.6 installed on your phone: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1213229
Once you boot up, go to play store and download rom manager. Use it to flash to the latest, up to date, version (currently 5.0.2.8).
Nothing is hapening it says "CID incorrect!" "update Fail!"

Hmmm...
The only thing I can think of is to get the RUU for your phone from football's thread and run it. Then try installing cwm again. Make sure you get the correct RUU, if you use wrong one you could brick your phone.
Good luck.

hi,
its my first post, and i am moving from ios to android so it is not that easy so i hope i am doing this right,
all day i was looking for a way to backup my stock signed recovery.img before flashing TWRP for rooting [already unlocked bootloader],
then i searched for it and found this one [2.17.401.2] not a perfect match for my [2.17.415.2] , i remember someone was saying any 2.17 may work, is this correct and if not then i have to find a way to backup my img, and if you have ruu can this be extracted from it.
thanks

Yeah that is correct, you can install any stock rock that matches with 2.17... But if you have the correct ruu for your hox you can also extract that from it

Phone details are:
3.14.161.27
cid: VODAP001
Hboot 1.36
I tried to find the right ruu for this I couldn,t so that's why I am looking to flash custom rom. Please help.
Do you have a link of the thread ? Did you flash the boot.img correctly ? Did you do a full wipe in the recovery before installing the rom ? which recovery do you have ?
I did that

so ? did you try a different rom then....just for testing purposes ? give me more info mate....im not here to guess
CleanROM is in the ATT One X section, I have no freaking idea how you ended up there. You can't flash ROMs meant for the One XL/4G version.
I asked him for a link ans more info ! Reading and aswering seems to be very difficult
Thank you guys I sorted out thanks to you. I did fastboot flash command and erase cache flashed different rom and it worked. Best forum ever. Thanks

CASE CLOSED !
Hello everyone,
I have an international HTC One X with CID HTCCN701, and I would like to install CM10.1.
I am not a noob , and I have already installed a Jelly Bean ROM after unlocking. However, I am currently on hboot version 1.12 S-ON Unlocked, and I could not find a hboot that is for my CID which fits the requirements (Version 1.28 or higher)
Moreover, though I know how to flash hboot, it would be great if anyone can provide a method to update hboot without changing the present ROM, recovery, and data on the device.
Thank you!
P.S. Please do not tell me to search; I cannot find a firmware here for HTCCN701
Does anyone have a solution?
Check for a newer hboot here

Thanks, but I already checked it, and I cannot locate HTCCN701

Is there 1.29 boot RUU for your device?
Or try this method, get back to stock with stock recovery, relock your bootloader then check for updates and update your device, and checl your bootloader version.

Hello everyone,
I have found a new firmware.zip for my phone.
However, because it looks suspicious, would someone please tell me how to verify if the zip is indeed real? (Not edited)
Dropbox link: http://db.tt/1hZsAVvD

Thank you!
try to install it, if it fails to pass htc sig and cid check, it wont do any harm
Yes, I think there is 1.29 RUU, but isn't the hboot contained in it not up to date?
And, I have already checked for updates when I was on stock ROM back in mid June.

Thanks, but are you sure it will just refuse to flash if it is a fake? Because I saw on the forums that if a wrong firmware is flashed, the device could be bricked.
Another question is that is it possible to upgrade hboot without modifying system and data?

You would need s-off for it to flash if it's fake and upgrading the hboot doesn't wipe system or data , although unlocking the boot loader does

Download an official RUU for ICS for your CID and flash it...
That will reinstall and wipe everything so make sure you have everything important backed up to your PC.
Then you should be able to download OTA updates.
If you cannot find your RUU please PM "Mr. Hofs"
You don't own a HTC one X !

Mr hofs is right, though I wanted to add some clarification. That version does not actually exist for genuine one x so we are thinking you got a fake.
