Does anyone have the .img file for doomkernel v2 for gingerbread cdma? I already asked DooMLord but he lost his files.
V2 was for the messed up Verizon 2.3.4 that had Google sync issues.

Thanks man! You're a life saver, no other kernel worked as well as doom's.
NINJAEDIT: I think this is v1 instead of 2, do you have v2 instead? Or if you have wifi modules for v1?

I am currently using 1.4 paranoidkangdroid and recently tried flashing on the 4.2 camera.
Every time i take a picture, the camera app crashes and no other camera app works either. So i was wondering what the fix was. I was looking at a previous thread on this and they said to "reflash CNA". Except i duno what that is lol.
All help is greatly appreciated thank you
Doing a clean install of your ROM. In this case paranoid kang android, could be what was recommended.

You'd have to start over with the whole 4.2 camera thing, but you'd get a clean slate

So i just bought a refurbished Sony Xperia Ion from eBay. The seller said it was unlocked, but i haven't tested yet since Its at&t and so is my provider. Anywhoo, I would like to Flash CM10 to it but, I can't find any somewhat simple instructions on how to root it first. The boot loader is also locked. Also I'm somewhat new to rooting, I was a previous jailbreaker before i switched to android (I still love both operating systems). I guess you could say had some practice when i had my Galaxy s4. Any links or just a written instructions would be a great help. Thanks!

And I would also suggest you to deodex your rom after rooting and installing cwm. Only then you can apply all themes to your ion

Enable usb debugging in developer options in settings. Install proper adb drivers. Download the zip. Extract it to a folder and then run that batch file from there. You will be asked to press enter to proceed. Make sure you have unknown sources enabled in your settings. If you follow all the steps it will definitely work. Drivers are generally headache. Generally the install automatically by pc companion and software update service app by Sony or you can download from the site of adb drivers.

anyone else have anything on this?
Hey hello!
In start I want to apologize all of you for mistakes in my message (If are).
Last week i got xperia arc s from my friend cause he have problem with that phone.
He told me, when he tried to update from 2.3.4 gingerBread to 4.0.4 Ice cream sandwitch by Phone updater in settings, phone has turned off and nothing was showed on the screen. I tried to turn on the phone, but only reaction is little vibrate when I hold power and menu buttons a lot of time.
Holding only power button don't give reaction.
So I tried to restore software by Update Service (licenced software to update/restore software from sony), but that program told me The phone have installed the newest software.
I downloaded flashtool and flash arc s using no-branded roms. I flashed 2.3.4 and 4.0.4 but it gave me no effect. I have second xperia arc s in home (my brother's phone) I tried to change battery but battery is ok.
Do you have any idea what can i do to revive that phone?
Ya

I had doubts too. Just figured id ask! If you find out different lemme know! Thanks guys :]
The model "trltevzw" is for the developer edition. Just to clarify it. I would NOT run this in Odin if you are on a retail device!
Nice find tho! I read the article and i was instantly like WTF! Went to the link to Chainfires site and yea its for the DE. LOL
Good looking out tho sir!
