Could anyone out there replicate the lock screen on the S4? If you look at any of the hands on videos, it had a light effect when swiping as opposed to the ripple effect. If someone could make a flashable zip or something that would be awesome.

Obviously we can't run it, but the system files are there.
I need that, too. I will ubscribe to this forum so I hope someone will upload flashable zip.

Flash the leaked 4.2.2
Yes, there is a leak 4.2.2 already for Samsung GS3 I-9300 made available by SamMobile:
http://www.sammobile.com/2013/05/20/exclusive-i9300xxufme3-android-4-2-2-jelly-bean-leaked-firmware-for-the-galaxy-s-iii/
The firmware does not include a modem so not sure if it will work with other S3 variations.

yes it is, but i was referring to the radio that comes with it and the 4.0.4 in the dev thread was the koodo base no? shouldn't this be the tmobile one? they're not all the same. but ehh.... tmobile base usually sucks anyways.
Yes you are right the baseband is new as well and it is UVLH1 the kernel version is 3.0.8 I guess I will give this a try for a week completly stock then back to good old AOKP. I just like trying the stock stuff. I gotta say I was very impresed with the first version of ICS that we got. I didnt even root it or anything till AOKP was official for the t989. I got super good battery life and everything was stable so lets see if this update holds up. Good job samsung.
Blech. Kies fail.

Hi all,
I found this firmware at sammobile.
Please find it by the link below.
http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/?page=3&model=SGH-T989&pcode=TMB&os=1&type=1#firmware
I am not sure if I posted at the right place.
Just tell me if I posted wrong and I will remove it.
Enjoy...
I already got the uvlh1 system folder with the apps, libs, build prop, and etc and also the .tar. I took the radio and made a flashable zip of it its in the dev section. I tryed to upload it on dropbox but it said the file is too large. Which is the best file sharing site so i can upload the large files so i can post it here ? But i guess the devs already has it.

The 4.2.2 stock firmware for the GS3 has leaked here http://www.sammobile.com/2013/05/20...lly-bean-leaked-firmware-for-the-galaxy-s-iii. I realize that this is for the international version of the GS3 but I am curious if this works for the AT&T version (or any other version for that matter)?

That's what I thought. It escaped my mind that the international version uses the exynos quad core. Well, It's been widely rumored that the official 4.2 update will be pushed some time in June. Thx

The question 'can you flash an i9300 rom on the ATT version?' is all that needs to be asked if there is really a question. Links should not be posted and are completely unnecessary.
The answer to that noob question is a quick NO and you don't have other noobs clicking unnecessary links and flashing incompatible roms.

Hey I've been running this ROM on the sgh-t889 with little to no problems. If you want to be on the current version (3.1.1) flash dn3 v1.0 first and then the latest build. I check n7105 in aroma and note 3 launcher only and it works for me.

Go into the note 2 ATT forum for the download link. Theres instructions on how to flash inside the Dn3 thread. Install it & flash the T-Mobile modem. The apns for T-Mobile is already on there. Just when you first boot it up close the setup and you'll get 4g. I'm using it right now

Why port it? There's no difference between porting it and flashing it w/ the new modem. You'll get the same results except for maybe one feature that they dont have is WiFi calling.

Hi guys i want to know if there's a site aside from sammobile that i can download the latest firmware from? like 4.4 kit kat, 4.3 jelly bean, 4.2.2. ICS.
because i tried from sammobile and it said that since the download was 1.5gb it would take about an hour to download and about 50% something happened o my internet and it cut off and i got pissed cause 1 hour is too much to wait for a file.
does anyone have a link of this file to uploaded, or zippi, or mediafire, or any free site or mega or dropbox, or box?
thanks in advanced
i want this files cause im ready to root my tmobile s4 on kit kat so, also any guides or step by step would be appreciated:
im thinking of rooting, removing bloatware, so if anyone kind enough to help cause im new to samsung devices and also new to rooting samsung devices... i did root a htc that i had before this phone but i read that they are worlds apart from each other so enough said i dont want to mess up my phone or brick it. so please help guys
thanks again

It looks like the Lockscreen has been updated to look more like what Samsung did with the S5's lockscreen style a little bit, I would have liked to have seen more design like the new Touchwiz featured on the S5. Is that memory screenshot of before or after a memory clear? Before a memory clean I average about 1.36gb of usage, after memory clean I get it down to 700mb.
Works on our phones too

The Kitkat build on the Sprint S3 boots with the system and boot images on the 4.3 bootloader and modem. The wifi doesn't work however, but everything else does.
Just download the tar file for 4.4, and extract the system image and the boot image. That's the core and the kernel right there.
