I just installed AOKP 4.2 on my T989. I also installed the Cerux Kernel which seems to fix the awful call quality issue.
Now, the Status bar at the very top of the screen has not background. I've been clicking around for a half hour and can't seem to find a toggle or setting to bring back the black background. Anyone know how to get it back?
thx,

If anyone here has run MIUI in the past and miss the battery bar across the top of the screen rather than a battery icon in your notification bar pvyParts over at XDA has you covered.
You can see the subtle red bar across the top of the screen here, from left to right.

For any of you who don't what a Kairosoft game should look like, this isn't it. The last time I played this game, I was running a custom ics rom and had hidden the nav bar for a full screen game experience. Now I'm running stock JB, and this is what the game looks like. I can't hide the nav bar now, so what can I do? Is that even the problem?

Is there a way to get rid of the shadow under the status bar? Have this on every rom, makes my transparent statusbar look funky.

Only took a couple months to discover it's a setting in apex. Oops...:banghead:
I have a problem with my notification bar. The bar has another bar super-impossed and it's totally inelligeable. I've contacted Samsung and they don't have a clue as to what's causing this distorsiĆ³n. If anyone else has seen this issue, please let me know and hopefully we can figure out a fix.

Your solution is called good luck on Samsung app store
Look
Is it there if you change wallpaper?
Looks like the classic prank where you take a screenshot and put it as a wallpaper.
