I moved the thread it is in the sensation threads now ,FYI This will work on any device using JB or ICS as long as it is a CM or AOKP Rom just follow the link and there is a couple of mods available depending on what you are running.
change-log has been moved as wells as mods to Sensation forums .just follow links in post..

Hi Guys,
CM10 has become so popular...thanx to Quarx for all the effort...
But this popular rom did not had any dedicated MOD thread for our Defy...so i decided to create one...
I have seen certain mods but those are all scattered here and there, it will be gr8 if all the mods could be found in one single thread.
Also it would be gr8 if we could request different mods and our talented developers/modders could create those for us....making CM10 even more popular....
I hope i have created the right thread....

There is another user (ammar786) who has created some mods for CM10...Although these are not for defy...but i think they should work as well...

Yes This will be a Great Idea All Mods in one place..:laugh:
Nice idea maybe... But op is weak. More effort could be put in atleast getting all the current mods with links to the specific thread or post. And frankly., the general section seems better place for this

anything AOSP based, that being cm10.1, aokp, rasbean, etcetc is supported..
it will NOT work with the sony roms, or sense roms, or touchwiz roms so dont blame me if you try doing it with those roms.

I'm still with sense but have the AOSP lockscreen through Trickdroid ROM. I have been trying and trying your method but nothing seems to work. My only way around was to do it manually; pull the framework-res.apk out, change the png image, re-insert the apk into system, change permission and finally back into framework folder in system. If I could only find out how to make the flashable zip, I'd be more than happy to display some of my work or peoples request.

How To Install :
##suppose i wanna install sanim.zip as my new bootanimation
1) Rename sanim2 or 3 to sanim.zip ..(for custom roms ..check the name of the zip file in system/media and rename it accordingly)
2)Move sanip.zip(or any other name according to ur current rom) to system/media and set proper permissions(using root explorer ..properties ..set permissions ..tickmark all the boxes excpet bottom row ! .. )
3)Reboot .Enjoy ..and if u liked the boot animation HIT THANKS !!!!!
