Updating to GB27 - Samsung Epic 4G Touch

Ok, so I'm on FL24 with the Wild for the Night ROM. How would I go about doing this? Do I have to do a favtory reset, just flash a GB27 kernel or something else?
Thanks.

There is an awesome walk thru by QB King on you tube for updating thru PC Odin via a one click for FK23. I'd watch that as well and just sub in GB27 one click. These devs have given a lot of time to make a step by step walk thru. But the short is find the repository and download the oneclick..then you can extract the files. Then once thays done boot into download mode..volume down and power at the same time..(after powering off the device) plug in to your pc yellow light appears in odin and click...wait...green light pass...reboot and boom..you're good to go with setting up your apps and screens. That seems quick I'm sure so check this out and have fun....

Install one of the custom GB27 ROMs like Touched By SGS4 or JellyVerse then you just gotta hit power and it's in the power menu.

As far as I can tell by examining the install script, this is not a permanent install.
Everytime you reboot, it will go back to the original CWM and you will have to run the install again to get this recovery.

And that is why the OP details are always important.. Would have save a few clicks of the mouse.
See it on a few devices so unless someone is willing to port it over and test.. but the short search of ports looks like a TW base would be the way you'd have to go. Breaks the actual puzzle and all you'd get is a touch location.. Desire Z folks, sidekickers, mezmorized peeps, Evos.. failed.
Seeing how it's on the Galaxy S, maybe someone here will try.

Not trying to be disrespectful, but I'd never would have suggested an app if the OP would have stated you were on CM10. Hopefully you can uninstall it and get back to normal.
Ask for a port, revamp your OP. State your current setup, details, and what you're looking for. It never hurts to ask and it never hurts to provide as many details as you can.

Ok... Howbout this? There has never been a problem with the menu button on any ROM running JB. A dev wouldn't release it if that was the case and it was an issue. So, instead of wasting both our time and your time acting like you did everything correctly, when you could have possibly done something wrong, or your phone did, use the search function, use Google, or find a different ROM, flash it, and see if it still does it. Diagnostics can get you far, but willful ignorance will not.
If it was me and a ROM was doing some weird stuff like that, I wouldn't use it. A menu button that doesn't work in a ROM is a deal breaker.

Interesting. It's worth a shot OP. Worst case, it fails and you uninstall. If it is successful, you can install mobile odin, then get the latest gb27 tar, and money. While you're at it, you will have to flash a cwm custom jb kernel, since you're on ics, and, MO won't flash modems, you'll need a jb modem to use data on gb27. Download the zip though of the modem . Good luck, let us know how it goes.
