Will Sony release Jelly Bean update for Xperia SL..??
I'd say it's a pretty solid chance, if the s is.

Yes, Xperia SL will get the update. Rollout is scheduled at April.
Yes, just like S lol
JB 4.1 is confirmed, probably in the coming weeks.
It will be released when it's ready.

I'd advise you to wait till Sony releases it all the ics roms are incomplete with missing let features. WiFi on some, camera, data on some, and more.
Probably won't see a complete romtill Sony releases ics on their phones.
I know how you feel, I can't wait for ics on my arc

You could use DooMLoRD's ICS alpha, don't see any bug there and you have on screen buttons.

You have to wait till they actually release it.

Well if you are too lazy to wait for Xperia Jelly Bean AOSP,you can get Jelly Bean AOSP and make one yourself...
I'm so weird why many people are acting like crazy about the Jelly Bean...I'm actually happy even I don't get/use/have Jelly Bean since Ice Cream Sandwich is the best for me...

hello guys, im new but i already know how to root, unlock bootloaders, install mods and roms such as cyber-shot 5.7.2 and xzxperience.
i've waited for a long time, when will sony announce official android 4.1.2 JellyBean for xperia acro s [lt26w] ?? and now i decided to install [LEAK] Sony JellyBean Firmware: 6.2.B.0.68, but it was only for xperia s [lt26i] :crying:
can someone pleaseeeeeeeee make something like this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2154723 for xperia acro s
FYI im from Malaysia and love modding, im really sorry for bad english and ask for something..
I think the leaked firmware for Xperia S doest allow you to call. You can't get network on that mod.

Think of a T JB, without some camera features (HDR, for example). Look at S leak one. Should be like that.

Since the update for the Xperia S is rolling out, I was wondering if any Acro S users have received the update yet? Post here if you have and comment on any noticeable improvements

The Jelly Bean update has arrived
The update has arrived in Sony PC companion, downloading......
I've been reading this forum lately and I noticed that C2004/5 users got updated to 4.2.2 but I am still at 4.1.2. I suppose it is compatible with my C1905 and if so why didn't Sony push the update? Also is it worth flashing it or should I wait for CM portç

Perhaps because Sony will be releasing 4.3 so they just stopped working on 4.2.2?

While KitKat will be released in a month or two?
From what I've read yes the M will get kitkat but wont be till mid/late 2014
Sent from my C2005 using xda premium
Kitkat is miles away as far as our phone is concerned and there's been no official announcement as of yet.. The one you are referring to in Q1 in 2014 is an android 4.3 update for Xperia M.. I doubt if Sony will release an official 4.2.2 for single sim.. There were talks afloat that it'll directly upgrade to 4.3

If you have a Nexus, sure, you get any new Android versions the day it is released itself. But on the other hand, if you have devices from Samsung or other Original Equipment Manufacturers, then they will first have to skin that particular Android version before they release it for your device.
Skinning is often a tedious job, and making things creative in the new Android version will take some time. This is why we are getting 4.3 Jelly Bean in the first quarter of the coming year for M.
Since KitKat has done away with fragmentation, it has the potential to even run on older devices (devices released after mid to late 2012). The Xperia M is sure to get a KitKat update, but that will be a long time in coming. It's pretty obvious that we will get CyanogenMod or its derivatives or AOSP and its derivatives long before the official one.
Ok thanks guys. Wish I could give you a thanks but the app won't let me
