HTC HC C700 case

Has anyone actually gotten their hands on on yet? Would love to hear some impressions. Seems to be the lowest profile of anything available.

I have ordered the v701..its the same as c700 with an additional leather flap..waiting for it to arrive..

Had a clear one for about a month now. It doesn't add much bulk at all and looks really good on the white HOX - most.people wouldn't even notice that you had a case on the phone.
It doesn't offer much in terms of grip but it isn't any worse than the bare phone.

Ordered mine early april from handtec, emailed to complain that i was promised delivery end of april and they told me they wont get stock til mid may now... I said i wasnt happy and they refunded my postage as a gesture of goodwill. Good customer service considering its htcs manufacturers causing the delay.

Got bored of waiting... Cancelled my handtec order. And since I placed it in early april I have now recieved both my metal slim carbon fibre case from hong kong http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=26003150 and rock tpu case from singapore http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=24978268 which are both great!

I emailed Handtec today and they have said they expect tomorrow. Im not hopeful though.

Depends on the color of your phone..if its white then c700 n if its grey then case mate..coz the clear case looks beautiful on white n u don't wanna hide the beauty of white anyways..n grey looks horrible in the clear case..

For US buyers, Expansys-USA has the HTC HC cases. I've seen blue, orange, white, and gray. I bought the AT&T one and my phone rattles in it a bit, so I'm going to pick up the blue one from Expansys. I didn't realize the AT&T version is a bit taller than the international one, but I did see that the camera ring is bigger and the dock ports don't line up.

We got the case mate barely there ones in at work, and they don't provide the best protection around the camera lens as its still exposed and not raised fully above the lens compared to the HC700 which gives the best protection around the camera lens

Yes they do 2. The hard plastic part that clips on is clear but the leather flap is black on this one.

Link to pics is there lol. Last link is an imageshack slideshow. Just to note in image 5 the back looks sparkly, it is not it is smooth white like the front.
We have some nice red paint in work and i'm planning on extenuating the front and back HTC logos by filling them in red.

I meant pics of yours heh. The pics don't really show what the phone looks like in the case

I'm confused. That link does show my phone. First link is the clear backed case, second is black backed case and third link is a gallery of pictures of my phone in my case. Here is one of the pics

I've got the V701. it is an cool idea, because it protects the screen and you can stand up the phone. but if you want to type a message or do something else on your screen, it doesn't feel comfortible in your hand because it is too mutch and i've got big hands
so everytime i do more with my hox i pull it out of the case because its nicer to hold the naked phone

Just got mine today and it looks lovely goes well with the white HOX. The microfiber screen flap is not that bad at all its a light grey and looks well. The combination of white, black and grey looks good.
It feels like and oozes in class.
Comes with a screen protector as well slightly small fit the sp but bright and clear.
Overall I love this case will see how it fares.

Not sure if link will show up, but if you go to Android Central and visit their store, look for: Cruzerlite Persona Case for Samsung Galaxy S3. I believe the one you are looking for is in that bunch. I think.

actually it IS the same case. (the "peeking andy") you just aren't thinking in 3D.
a friend has it, the droids wrap around cases outer skin, just like that.

got it now they send a panel to put in the case to test it .

I wonder if anything not from factory would jeopardize the seal. Like the zerolemon 2300mah batt or an aftermarket back cover. Since the ZL adds a slight bump the the back of the phone.

That looks way better than I thought it would, much nicer than the fake eBay cases. It looks like they took the front off a seidio obex, and the back looks really cool. Wish the picture had a white phone in it. This might be enough to get me to sell my obex.

Looks a bit big - and I am not sure about a case that costs so much. I have a Vertex case and it seems to do the trick - though I do tend to avoid taking dips in water.

how would this deal with heat issues. since no air goes in and out if ones phone overheats and heat does not escape . would it mean its your screwed?

Wow finally..I've been anticipating this forever

Well we all said that the Galaxy S4 would be out before this got out...
So that just goes to show that all of the Lifeproof cases on eBay are complete nonsense so far.
The interesting thing is that OtterBox owns Lifeproof. Yes folks who think I've lost my mind, they acquired them a few month ago. Press Release here.
For people that knew that, oh well...
But are we going to see OtterBox LifeProof Nuud Actives or something strange?

They use the same design for their iPad cases.
They've also released a new iPhone 5 case on this design.

I'm wondering if all those Chinese cases were prototypes that got "taken" from the assembly line or they just released them since they have an actual case out now. The knockoffs had "patent pending" on them.

Or, more likely, someone got hold of the molds, or, there were a few 'after hours' production runs made at the factory.
Not unusual at all in the toy molding business, so I don't think that this would be any different.

The knockoffs look like the iPhone LifeProof. The real LifeProof is the nuud or however you spell it which is different and has no built in screen protector.

Yeah they appear to be a case seller. Don't know anything about them though. Showing pictures of the real cases would at least make things a bit better.
iTALKonline are also a case seller on Amazon, and I've had nothing but garbage product the two times I got stuff from them. I ordered a few cases from them for my parents older Xperia Ts. The cases didn't fit at all, the buttons were covered by the front lip, so you couldn't even use the phones... Never buy from them!
Anyway, even if they are a case seller, who knows if they're any good. I like those retro Nintendo designs though.

These types of cases are not for protection from anything. The most it'll protect is from scratches. It's just to kee your nexus 5 from getting scuffed up and look neat at the same time.

These are pretty sweet, but I'm really put off by the fact that there are so few reviews of their other cases. Maybe once my SAND starts showing some age I'll try one of these. The price at least is pretty reasonable

Lol I forgot about this thread. Anyway I decided to risk it and ordered me one on 2nd and still hasn't came in so yeah that sucks, but when and if I ever get it I'll make sure to do a review on it .

Guys don't even waste your money. This case is crap. Its pretty much a plain white case with the gameboy printed on it. I thought it would be one of them nice rubber cases for the iPhone but trust me its not. I'm in the process of getting a refund...yeah its that bad.

Its really bad lol I was like wtf when I saw it . Good thing Amazon has great customers service. Imma just stick with cruzerlite for my case needs =p
