No ota?

Stock rooted ROM wont be able to get the latest ota?

I think you will need to be back on stock with a stock recovery. I tried flashing an ota a while ago when was stock rooted and it failed at 25% or somewhere in there

Yes and you need to be unrooted as well. You can use OTA Rootkeeper from the market to temp un-root, take OTA and the re-root.

I have the stock recovery, and I do have that app. I'll give it a go.

If you have Mobile Odin you can load up the whole FW and then pick only recovery to flash.
Also Cybernook has a stock recovery a few threads down, but we are not sure which version it is.
Or if you can wait just a bit ill get it uploaded and get out the link.

Ah, yea forgot. Yea I still have the h2 image I used somewhere but forgot mobile Odin can flash just the recovery section of that.

The OTA isn't available to everyone yet. My phone is stock and not rooted and the OTA doesn't show up yet.

I'm rooted and status says im modified... how can I get this update without plugging in Kies?

I think we will need to unroot, then do the update via ota.

I haven't updated mines yet but I was thinking of doing it thru Odin instead of kies does anyone know if it could be rooted after thru Odin?

I cannot either. I think it is because my phone is rooted.

Well I unroot my fone once and tried it still didn work I ave to update it manually

The reason. U cannot update through kies is because u have a custom recovery installed, kies will not identify the devices as updatable if rooted with custom recovery, if u use Odin and flash the phone back to stock unrooted it should update, but honestly its not workth it..

I've updated my note 2 to 4.3 (india) and getting this error in OTA updator.

Why don't you do as it suggests and plug the USB cable into your PC and use Samsung Kies to update the software that way?

I have no problem by updating through kies but the thing is why OTA update isn't working.
