Boot into recovery. Stock recovery, CWM, and TWRP, will all work. Wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache. Reboot, you should be golden.

Doesnt odining a complete stock image pretty much just flash over the recovery and everything, therefore shouldn't be necessary to do that. I could be wrong though.
I cannot get into recovery only dl mode

There's gotta be some little thing. What do you have checked? Have you tried the repartitioning option?

Damn... Well if it doesn't boot, I really don't think they'll know you messed with it. You don't have a tell triangle do you?
You might be able to lie to the insurance and say a child did something to it...
If it doesn't work, then you have a very nice paper weight, which sucks..

Sometimes even in Odin you may have to do a factory reset after words to get it to boot had it happen all the time on epic touch... Had to Odin back to stock from cm because of the emmc brick error...
Sent from my SPH-L900 using Xparent BlueTapatalk 2
Well if you flash twrp with odin and have it not autoreboot you should be able ti boot into brand new twrp shouldnt you? I never really messed with the 4g touch when I had it. But when I had the galaxy nexus I had to do that a couple of times.

You might have to rebuild the partitions.
Another option is to use ADB. Using the dd to from command making sure you dd recovery to the correct partition number. There is a ADB command to show the partition numbers. You'll have to read up on that making sure you do it correctly or you can brick your phone.

So did you flash a recovery through Odin? If not, do that then Vol Up + home + Power should bring you there

Then use adb something must be up with Odin. Using adb you can use the dd command to install the recovery right to the partition. Just do your research.

Need your help guys/gals!
I have been using my GN2 since they came out and have pretty good experience flashing/trying different ROM's. This morning I tried to flash JellyThunder and flash showed as complete. When I did the reboot, now my phone is stuck at the Samsung Galaxy GN2 logo. I tried entering into recovery by using "volume up" + "power" and still a no-go. I have pulled the battery multiple times and same thing. (always stuck at logo).
Next I tried to use ODIN and it does recognize the phone through com port but when I try to flash new recovery it just sits there and hangs. No error message or nothing. Did I just brick my phone or what? Please, need your help!
Thanks,
Factory reset

Did you try it from another computer/laptop? That could possibly be the problem. Why Odin is not recognizing it. Also what version of Odin are you running using??
You can check http://www.sammobile.com
For the stock firmware you need. I hope you get this resolved!!

I am not trying to get technical but just reading your post you did volume up+power.
It should be volume up+power+home button. Try that =) Hope it helps.

=) WOOOHOOO glad I can help!!
I love our AT&T note2 community! Every problem I have so far has been solved and no one were jerks making smart remarks and crap.
I was running a rom and was having Bluetooth issues so I was going to re-flash back to stock with odin 3.1. I have done this many time but the phone just sits there with Samsung pulsating. My custom binary count is at 9. Is there a max? The flash with odin is always successful. I have tried both usb2/3 with both giving me the same results a "pulsating samsung" logo. I at a loss for what to do next, just keep trying?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Everything on my phone was running fine until I ran a backup in Titanium Backup of the Apps. I stepped away from my phone and when I came back it was stuck on the yellow sprint spark screen. I have searched around for some answers but to no avail so I thought I would ask for help form the community. I rooted my phone and have installed TWRP recovery and I can get to recovery but that is all. The phone is in a boot loop as well. I appreciate any help.
