After I updated to 4.1.2 I went ahead and rooted my device using the toolkit, but now after its done I dont see the superuser icon in the apps menu. Does anyone else have the same issue?
Which Superuser? I have SuperSu and I used Mobile Odin to update and I am not having an issue.
What steps did you perform using the Toolkit?

In that android guy screen, press volume up + power, that will give you stock recovery, then install the update, it will give you the error, and why it's failing.

I have a rooted GS3 on stock 4.1.1 TouchWiz firmware but recently the 4.1.2 update became available. How can I update the phone? I can't use the updater in TouchWiz, it just says "checking for new software" forever.

I received a notification for a system update today unexpectedly since I'm not on a stock ROM but was wondering if it would cause problems if I updated. I assume it's the new 4.1.2 update. I'm on Stockorama 2.0 with a stock kernel (I would have asked in that thread but it's basically dead).
