Hey XDA folks,
I figured I'd post my review of the White Carbon Fiber Skin for the SIII over here on the forums. If you guys are on the edge or haven't seen one of these skins before, this in depth look might make you want one. For all the information on the skin, visit www.icarbons.com.

Thanks guys! I hope you're as pleased with the skin as I am!

Since its not glossy, it's not as slippery as you'd think. And I've heard it works with screen protectors, but I can't really say because I do not have on applied at the moment! Sorry!

I just received an email from MightyDeals, they're offering a voucher for a Wooden SigniCase for only $35 with shipping. If you don't know, these cases have been available for iphones for quite a while. These cases are beautiful, and are sure to bring out the "nature" side of your S3.
Heres the link from Mighty Deals: SigniCase Wooden Smartphone case deal - MightyDeals
And heres the link to the actual SigniCase website: Galaxy S3 | Natural Wood Case for Galaxy S3 by SigniCASE
thanks for sharing.
i wish they had more designs available.
Certainly looks very nice. Let me know if you get one

looks really nice but i have a feeling it would scratch up the edge when inserting the phone. unless theres a padding around it.
Its nice to see some options out there as i've wanted one since I switched to android
I LOVE the iWood cases for the iPhones and while I don't think these are quite up to that level its certainly a start in the right direction
Wish it was for Galaxy S2 too.

That would be my concern as well. Has anyone used one of these before? They look great!
I've seen a few variants mentioned here. Has anyone seen any others than the ones so far on this site?
Thanks in advance.
I just ordered a bamboo case from the Netherlands on Etsy. I'll try to post some pix once I receive it.

Do a search, there are some beautiful woods and wooden cases out there.
Just because its not your style doenst mean its stupid.

if you do a search tehre were at least two that i remember clicking.
I would pay upwards of $70 for a super thin wooden case. Maple or cedar would be amazing. I seen cases but there so fat. Just a super slim one would be nice.

I think quite a few kids that stalk these forums only look for cases that double as megatron transformer protectors of doom. I have a decent otterbox for when I go out to the field (military), and then a few nice thin ones for daily use. If you guys find any decent bamboo ones share the links!

Here’s the bamboo case I purchased on Etsy. I had to sand the base down a little for it to work with my Philips speaker docks, but other than that it's perfect.

What's with the hate on wooden cases? Unless someone can provide proof or situations where wooden cases have caused some sort of excessive overheating/burning... there's no reason it's a stupid idea. I have seen MUCH more ridiculous cases posted by people on this website. Tacky colors, cheap materials, hideous design concepts... how are those any less stupid than a wooden case? People pay thousands of dollars to have wood floors installed in their homes yet in order to improve its look yet it's a stupid idea to pay $40 for a case? Grow up kids.

Could you please provide a link to it or maybe provide a brand name? I'm not familiar with Etsy at all. A quick search on the site only found me a clip on back case similar to that one. Yours looks like its a slider and provides much more protection. It looks great and I'd definitely buy it if it's still available on etsy.
I also found some on eBay but I really hate buying from there especially when it comes from overseas since I almost got ripped off for an "OEM" Samsung Flip cover once before.

Hey guys,
Can any of you suggest a Bumper to me for my GSM Gnex? The reason I am asking is because mine has a small chip in the screen (no crack, *phew*) at the very bottom.
I like thin phones and I have seen in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1D4Ff3xX4iw&feature=youtube_gdata_player that there is one that fits my needs. However, the link does not work for it.
So I am asking if any of you have a link for this product, or a very similar one. I would like to be out of the same materials.
Thanks!
I have one to recommend.

Here you go. These are aluminum though but I guess it's similar.

Anyone know of a reputable source for the case above? Just recevied my case and it wasnt the color I asked for or the style pictured. Not worth sending it back to china and eBay buyer protection wont have me backed in case I got the wrong item again.
Just got mine and it doesn't fit! It clearly does not cover the width of the screen. It says it is "case friendly" but this seems a bit ridiculous! Has anyone else purchased these?

I was gonna say. Lol. That's lame though. I'm still trying to find a nice screen protector then. I've always wanted to use the ZaggHD's. Never had a phone that had the option.
Did you send an email to Zagg to inform them of this?
Just got it today but I intend to considering how much I've spent on their products

How are these? Not amazing quality but hopefully you get the idea. Left and right sides of the screen.

You guys should try the otter box shield that they sell @ Sprint. It's 29.99 and covers front & back, I personally love Zagg but this is just as good if not better.

And that's with a case on--meaning it's covering even less of the phone if it was naked. Man. Forget it. Thanks for the heads up! I appreciate the pictures.
I've always had Zagg HD screen protectors on my phones but I got tired of spending 25+ for each one. I made the switch to xtreme screen protectors and haven't regretted it. Currently using one on my moto now and it fits perfectly and for $2 it can't be beat.
Anyone tried ArmorSuit? http://www.armorsuit.com/cell-phone...x/motorola-moto-x-phone-screen-protector.html
Seems similar to Zagg but maybe it fits?
I bought the ArmorSuit, haven't put it on yet. Like with the Zagg, there was a "case friendly" version, but I could see from the photos it looked exactly like the Zagg case friendly and I didn't want it that far from the edge of the screen.

I tried the ArmorSuit case friendly and hated it - same issue it appears with the Zagg case friendly - just too much gap between the edge of the protector and the case/edge of the phone. It creates a noticeable edge that your finger hits any time you swipe left to right (or right to left!).
I went with the 'normal' ArmorSuit and there's still a slight gap between the edge of the protector and the case, but it's hardly noticeable. That being said, the protector has marks (almost divots) and depending on which way you turn the phone in the light, you can see the orange peel effect on the screen.
That's no good! So maybe the otterbox one is best? Kind of expensive though....

I have always used my p6 without any cover, as I find it a very attractive phone. The problem is that, after a year and a half, the back cover was full of scratches. So I though, what would happen if I rub out the black tint from it? Well, this is what I got:
Honestly, I did not like it at the very beginning, but after two days I am very happy of what I did, now scratches are not noticeable
NOTE: My warranty is probably gone for ever :silly:
Paint it with plasti dip!, you got balls for doing that to your phone lol
